[SOGo] Setting Up a Calendar in SOGo
Hey Folks: I have been working at trying to set up a SOGo service on an Ubuntu server using mysql as an authentication method for some time now. It has been very slow going. I have managed (with some great help from this list) to get mail working via the web interface. There was some documentation on that. What I've not found is any reasonable documentation when it came to setting up calendars. Can any one point me to something? I suspect, just like setting up various tables for the mail in mySQL, I have to do something similar for the calendar, but I've not been able to pin down the specifics. -- Richard Doc Kinne, [KQR] Astronomical Technologist American Association of Variable Star Observers - Please support the AAVSO and its mission -- Join or donate today: http://www.aavso.org/apps/donate -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Re: SOGo upgrade issue
I was able to purge the Ubuntu distro Samba packages. It also purged the 'openchangeserver' and 'openchangeproxy' packages. I was able to run update/upgrade, after which I re-installed the Inverse Samba and OpenChange packages. HOWEVER, once I restarted all the services, I was unable to login to my Samba domain. Login to the domain was refused, and the SOGo web interface failed on username/password unknown Does purging Samba also purge the accounts database, and do I need to backup/restore or re-provision? I'm looking for a few other suggestions, though I may not be able to address this for a few days (vacations) On 06/23/2015 11:01 AM, Ludovic Marcotte wrote: On 23/06/2015 10:26, Steve Ankeny wrote: Will that *damage* my Samba-AD-DC or its database? [SOGo] Exception on commit added support for DeletesAsMoves over EAS
Hello yall, TFU! Since I was running some tests with the master branch (bad decision) I caught a future bug here. It gives me an exception on line SOGoActiveSyncDispatcher+Sync.m:491: [(SOGoMailFolder *)[sogoObject container] deleteUIDs: [NSArray arrayWithObjects: serverId, nil] useTrashFolder: useTrash inContext: context]; There is no deleteUIDs function at SOGoGCSFolder/SOGoContactGCSFolder. [SOGo] Sogo Server Interpreting Time Zone Incorrectly
I've got an issue with my Sogo server v2.3. My Sogo default timezone is set to Europe/London and are my personal settings. However any event I create in outside of the Sogo web GUI displays in the web GUI as two hours earlier than it should i.e. instead of showing the event as being UTC+1(my server shows BST using the date command) it is showing the event as UTC-1. Saving events in the web GUI itself is even worse as it subtracts two hours every time it saves. This also causes issues with event invite emails - if a event is scheduled for any time (created or moved) within the next two hours no emails are sent which I am guessing is because the event is being interpreted as in the past. Here is the ics cotent of one event edited in the web GUI (the original start time was 0800 UTC+1). BEGIN:VCALENDAR PRODID:-//Inverse inc./SOGo 2.3.0//EN VERSION:2.0 BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:Europe/London X-LIC-LOCATION:Europe/London BEGIN:DAYLIGHT TZOFFSETFROM:+ TZOFFSETTO:+0100 TZNAME:BST DTSTART:19700329T01 RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=3;BYDAY=-1SU END:DAYLIGHT BEGIN:STANDARD TZOFFSETFROM:+0100 TZOFFSETTO:+ TZNAME:GMT DTSTART:19701025T02 RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=10;BYDAY=-1SU END:STANDARD END:VTIMEZONE BEGIN:VEVENT UID:2135-558D9400-1-3BFEEF80 SUMMARY:New Event CLASS:PUBLIC CREATED:20150626T180417Z DTSTAMP:20150626T180417Z LAST-MODIFIED:20150626T184505Z DTSTART;TZID=Europe/London:20150627T02 DTEND;TZID=Europe/London:20150627T03 TRANSP:OPAQUE SEQUENCE:2 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR Anyone got any ideas? -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Sogo - dovecot - shared mailboxes
Hi all, I have a fresh install of Postfix-Dovecot-SOGo on CentOs-MariaDB. All works fine except one thing : I can't see shared mailboxes between users. Other User never appear in user mailboxes, nor on webUI or Thunderbird. Anybody seeing what I'm doing wrong ? I'm not sure what is needed in Sogo config for handle that ? The ACL of Dovecot seems OK : # telnet localhost 143 . login usersharingfol...@domain.com myPassword . GETACL SharedFolder * ACL SharedFolder userusingfol...@domain.com ilrtd usersharingfol...@domain.com lrwstipekxacd In SOGo, ACLs are correctly kept in Share box, when I reopen it. /home/vmail/shared-mailboxes contains : shared/shared-boxes/user/userusingfol...@domain.com/usersharingfol...@domain.com 1 /home/vmail/domain.com/userSharingFolder/dovecot-acl-list contains : 1435271252 SharedFolder userUsingFolder is in delegation on mailbox of userSharingFolder. Hi Daniel! Since I was running some tests with the master branch (bad decision) I caught a future bug here. It is never a bad decision to test and report problems, so you can help to improve sogo. To reproduce the problem try to remove a contact over ActiveSync. What, specifically, is the problem? Have you followed the instructions here:http://www.sogo.nu/nc/support/faq/article/how-do-i-configure-sogo-to-use-mysql.html ? Regards Ian. [SOGo] Sogo and Multi-domain visibility
Hello, I'm working in order to migrate from Microsoft Exchange to Sogo. To test it, I've installed a standard Sogo instance. But I've a problem. I want to work with several domains : domain1.com, domain2.com and domain3.com I want domain1.com and domain2.com visible together, with domain3.com totally independant. I've seen the SOGoDomainsVisibility directive but, when I 've try to use it, when I'm using the autocomplete functionnality when I search a user in the contact/calendar share, I see all the domains account. If I read the directive SOGoDomainsVisibility, by default, domains are not visibles. Do you know if it is a bug ? Thanks you very much for your help ! -- Dave -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Sogo connector - What for?
Hi everyone, I am using sogo together with thunderbird and lightning. I don't really see the reason for installing the sogo connector plugin, because it seems that events get synchronized without the plugin, and it disables the folder bolding (when new mail arrives) in thunderbird. So my question is, what is the purpose of the sogo connector? thunderbird 38.0.1 lightning 4.0.0.1 SOGO connector 31.0.1 thanks and regards tom -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Sogo and Multi-domain visibility
Hi Dave. don't think its a bug, it works as expected for me on three different SOGo servers (two of them test servers) it may be the configuration, or your user backend for instance if i create 3 domains that all uses the same MySQL table to store all users then all 3 domains are visible to each other but if i use different tables for each domain then the SOGoDomainsVisibility works just as expected i don't know much about LDAP but i guess that's the same, and one would have to use the filter = (o='Inverse' AND mail='*' AND status 'inactive'); option (Installation Guide : Chapter 5) that's just my thought on the issue, without knowing more about your configuration Regards Christian On 29-06-2015 23:00, notdevnull wrote: Hello, I'm working in order to migrate from Microsoft Exchange to Sogo.
