Re: [SOGo] high memory and cpu usage

2016-02-29 Thread tfu
With following parameters set you should be able to monitor what's going from
the EAS point of view:
SOGoEASDebugEnabled = YES;
SOGoDebugRequests = YES

Try to identify what reuqests are running when the cpu usage is high.

Thomas

Re: [SOGo] Forward mail with attachment

2016-02-29 Thread Peter B
No, if I use "as attachment" the resulting message is blank with no
attachments - I guess that's a bug then!

I (and at least one other user I know of - woohoo! A sample of two)
would like to be able to forward inline, optionally with attachments.
This allows us to edit original content whilst including attachments.

This expectation is due to functionality found in Thunderbird and the
dreaded Outlook (and even in Android mail). In forwarding terms they
both a) automatically include attachments in messages forwarded either
inline or as an attachment, and b) additionally provide a "Forward As
Attachment" button or menu option, allowing the user to choose with each
message how they'd like to forward.

In feature terms I'd like as a minimum a) and b) as a nice-to-have.

Peter.

It's possible I'm being dim but in SOGo Web UI I can't find a way to
forward a message with it's existing attachment. It seems the only way
to do this is download the attachment, click to forward the message,
then re-attach (via potentially slow and bandwidth-allocation-consuming
upload) the attachment.

Is this potentially a feature request?

What have you set for Forwarding, "inline" or "as attachment"?

[SOGo] Feature request: add selected to list in Address Book

2016-02-29 Thread Peter B
A feature request: in an address book it would be great to add a "Create
list/Add to existing" button/menu option to the selection bar for
selected addresses in the address book list.

This would greatly simplify creating large groups (20+ members),
especially on mobile devices where typing is a pita.

Thoughts?

Peter.

[SOGo] 501 Error on Login

2016-02-29 Thread Oliver Werner
Hi,

when i will connect to Sogo (v3) i will got the follow error in Apache-Log

192.168.x.x - - [29/Feb/2016:16:25:28 +0100] "POST /SOGo/connect HTTP/1.1" 501
667 "https://sogo.dev.internal/SOGo/"; "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X
10_11_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/48.0.2564.116
Safari/537.36“

so i have test on another system and got

192.168.x.x - - [29/Feb/2016:16:31:46 +0100] "POST /SOGo/connect HTTP/1.1" 200
677 "https://sogo2.dev.internal/SOGo/so/"; "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS
X 10_11_4) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/48.0.2564.116
Safari/537.36“

So its different in

/SOGo/
/SOGo/so/

In Apache its configured:

ProxyPass /SOGo http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo retry=0
http://127.0.0.1:2/SOGo>
  RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-port" "443"
  RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-name" "sogo.dev.internal"
  RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-url" "https://sogo.dev.internal";
  RequestHeader unset "x-webobjects-remote-user"
  RequestHeader set "x-webobjects-server-protocol" "HTTP/1.0"
  AddDefaultCharset UTF-8
  Order allow,deny
  Allow from all

So now i don’t have an idea where the problem is

Hi all,

coming back to this strange issue.
I did perform a snapshot of the machine and switched to nightly hoping to have

Can anybody help with it, please?

Sorry for not including those. I really didn't think they would be
needed. Since the emails are going out and it appears to only be a
issue with the web interface.

That's also my setup, but I doubt the 2Gb (bonding) connection between
the servers is to be blamed here.

If needed I can setup a 2.3 install on a different machine as a test,

2016-02-29 Thread Pyromanci .
Hello,

I've been trying to get an installation of openchange and sogo working
with a samba 4 AD DC. I finally got it to the point where i could log
in and start sending emails (through the webmail interface).

However when you click send. It appeared as though nothing happened.
Though the buttons up top were no longer clickable. When i opened up
chromes developer console. I did see the request go out and a response
of "{"status": "success"}" when send was clicked. Though the window
does nothing.

I can confirm that the email does in fact go out. So i'm left
wondering if there is something in the javascript that is not
functioning properly.

Does anyone have any ideas?

That will not work, because V3 will remove V2 while installing.
You would have to compile and install V3 via sources and change default
installation paths.
Afterwards you have to change the port V3 is listening on, and create
another vhost for apache, which points to the V3 sogod.
Databse, LDAP/AD, SMTP and IMAP memcached should be shared.

Kind regards,

I assume those are initial syncs per ActiveSync.
SOGo has to get all data and deliver it to the client in chunks.
If there is a lot of data, this takes resources!

BTW:
That was heavier before.

We feel the same, however, on our v2.3 install, everything (imap, mysql)
is running locally. And for the v3 install, basically everything is
remote. (different machine, same lan)

We were thinking that perhaps this causes the slowness we observe..?

I am trying to add SOGo to an already working server with Postfix +

The server is Centos 7, 2 core with 3Gb RAM with less than 10 users.
Sogo installed from official repo: sogo-2.3.8-1.el7.centos.x86_64

Sogo is configured with 10 workers with this configuration:

WOWorkersCount = 10; WOListenQueueSize=10; WOWatchDogRequestTimeout=60;

SOGoMaximumPingInterval = 354; SOGoMaximumSyncInterval = 354;

SOGoInternalSyncInterval = 15; SOGoMaximumSyncWindowSize = 50;
SOGoMaximumSyncResponseSize = 2048;

Just configured default values and the problem is semi-solved. Now
sometimes there is 100% CPU usage. I will start a new thread for this.

[SOGo] 3.0.1 slowness

2016-02-29 Thread Alessandro Briosi
Hi all.

Some of my users have tryed out the new interface of SOGo.
Beside the fact that it's wasting too much space on a desktop screen as
it should and some other things which basically either were already
reported or I created a bug,
they lamented that interfaces seems to be slower than the 2.3 version,

Ciao,
Alessandro

P.S. there is also a minor thing, the browser title is missing (?), or
there's a configuration missing somewhere?

[SOGo] Forward mail with attachment

2016-02-29 Thread Peter B

Hi,

(Ubuntu 14.04, nightlies currently 3.0.1.20160229-1)

It's possible I'm being dim but in SOGo Web UI I can't find a way to
forward a message with it's existing attachment. It seems the only way
to do this is download the attachment, click to forward the message,
then re-attach (via potentially slow and bandwidth-allocation-consuming
upload) the attachment.

Is this potentially a feature request?

Peter.

[SOGo] high memory and cpu usage

2016-02-29 Thread anv

I have a problem with sogo and outlook (activesync) clients.

Sometimes it starts eating memory and CPU. The configuration is this
(almost all :

SOGoMaximumPingInterval = 10;
SOGoMaximumSyncInterval = 30;
SOGoInternalSyncInterval = 10;
SOGoMaximumSyncResponseSize = 2048;
SOGoMaximumSyncWindowSize = 0;

See the graphics:

Any help please?

Just want to note:
With the 2.3.8-er nightlies this doesn't happen.
I always have "https://"; URLs.
