[SOGo] Tasks and Reminders - Funambol, eM Client, Web Interface
Hi all, Can someone tell me if the following is a bug or not? I've just got Funambol up and running for my Windows Mobile 6.1 device, and when synchronizing tasks to SOGo I'm getting 'odd' behaviour where the tasks end up in the phone's Calendar as well as the phone's Tasks application. In the Calendar they're all set to the same time, an hour ahead of when they sync'd. It may be relevant that I'm using eM Client. In eM Client the tasks have reminders and that's where I set them but I've noticed in the SOGo web interface that there are no reminders on the tasks. It also might be relevant that though the tasks appear in the phone's Calendar as well as the Tasks app, in eM Client and the web interface the tasks don't appear in the calendars, only in the Tasks areas. [SOGo] Fun with Funambol
Okey dokey, Yet again I'm being an idiot. I've got SOGo working with eM Client mostly nicely, and have now installed the Funambol server on my mail server and the client (9.0.2) on my Windows Mobile 6.1 device. I can get the Contacts to sync, but not the Calendar or Tasks for which the sync runs, but nothing gets updated. I've checked the documentation and noticed that the SOGo advice on setting up the Funambol client is somewhat out of date - they removed the option for two-way, one-way sync a while ago in favour of two-way only. Maybe there are other things also that need checking? Can anyone point me in the direction of posts dealing with any known problems with the Funambol client that cover selective failing of synchronization? Re: Re: Re: Re: [SOGo] How to set up CardDav, CalDav etc for IMAP with eMClient
OK, I've tried using the web browser to access the Calendar, and this is what I see: >An error occurred during object publishing > >no WebDAV GET support?! The address in the address bar is: https://sogo.example.com:1234/SOGo/dav/username/Calendar Any help in tracking down how to get my SOGo to respond to me would be REALLY useful. So far it seems no one is responding at all. If this is child's play then please treat me as a child and teach me what the hell it is I'm doing wrong. All my web searches are turning up a total blank and I'm getting more and more frustrated and despondent about this... :( Ian -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: Re: Re: [SOGo] How to set up CardDav, CalDav etc for IMAP with eMClient
OK, I've tried to understand what's going on with connecting to the DAV part of SOGo. This is the address format I'm using in eMClient, but even though I've opened the ports in the firewalls, it's still not working: https://sogo.example.com:1234/SOGo/dav/username/ I suspect that because I'm having to use the port number (the mail server is separate from my web server which handles 80 and 443, so I have to use different ports on the mail server), that somewhere in the config files something just doesn't know about it. Can anyone advise me where in the config files I might find the settings to change to make the port number visible to eMClient? Ian -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] How to set up CardDav, CalDav etc for IMAP with eMClient
Hi, Having read some of the recent mails regarding eMClient, I decided to install it and see what it was like. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work with the Calendar, Address book or Tasks for the IMAP clients. How do I enable these three within the SOGo software so that eMClient IMAP accounts can see them? TIA Ian -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: Re: [SOGo] Sogo Web Address
Hi Ron, I've looked at the following: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/mod_proxy.html but there seems to be a lot to learn there which isn't relevant to me getting sorted out with the address bar change. Will setting up a proxy (or is it a reverse proxy) avoid the address bar reverting unlike the 'rewrite rule' that you mentioned? I'm still very new to Linux, and one big problem I find with it is that in order to get a particular 'thing' up and running there are countless dependencies that have to be checked, which have dependencies themselves, etc, etc. All these then seem to have fragmented and piecemeal help on the internet. Oh, how I wish for some co-ordination to it all! :( Ian -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: Re: Re: [SOGo] Sogo Web Address
Hi, I'm not confident of setting up a proxy based change to my mail server due to potential issues with hacking. Is there no way to change the address within the SOGo configuration? Ian -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: Re: [SOGo] Sogo Web Address
Hi, I think you misunderstood my meaning. The address you gave doesn't work as I've changed the port number. The closest I can get to your example that works is only to remove the /so/ from the end. I can access the site using https://sogo.example.com:1234/SOGo but not https://sogo.example.com/SOGo. I want to change the way the access is done, it's not that I don't understand how to get access. So I need to know what I need to change in SOGo (and elsewhere) to get https://sogo.example.com to work. Ian -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] Sogo Web Address
Hi, I have a query regarding the address to enter into a browser in order to access SOGo. Currently I have: https://sogo.example.com:1234/SOGo/so/ However, I'd like to change this so that it's simpler to remember and type in, and not show the custom port number by removing the ':1234/SOGo/so/' at the end: https://sogo.example.com Can anyone give me some pointers as to how this can be achieved? Thanks in advance, Ian -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] SOGo Web Interface Folder Names
Hi, Quick question: How are the folders in the Web Interface for SOGo named? I ask because I have sent mail folders for users that were created by IMAP as "Sent Items" but in the SOGo Web Interface they are just called "Sent". They are definitely the same folder as when I check in Outlook 2010 they are called "Sent Items" and contain the same emails as the Web Interface's "Sent" folder.
