Re: [SOGo] Mails with attachments not shown in SOGo
Hello, we can also reproduce this problem with some emails in version 5.8.2. I have therefore opened ticket 5645 in the commercial bug tracker. Kind regards Jan
[SOGo] Proxy (secretary) setup for events
Hello, We have tried to implement a proxy scenario (e.g. for the boss and secretary) as well as possible. It works very well for e-mail, both in the web interface and in the client - thanks to delegation and IMAP shared folders. But the behaviour with invitations leaves us perplexed. At least in the web interface, we would expect the following scenario to work: The secretary reads the incoming e-mails for the boss and answers them. She should also react to invitations and accept or cancel on behalf of the boss. However we test it, unfortunately it is always the secretary who accepts or cancels, or no acceptance or cancellation is possible at all, because SOGo only displays the message "Organizer Max Mustermann is proposing a meeting to the attendees. You receive this mail as a notification, you are not scheduled as a participant." Does anyone have any idea whether and how this scenario can be implemented? In my opinion, SOGo has all the information it needs to make it possible in the web interface. Greetings Jan -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] Any experiences with TbSync w/ CalDAV & CardDAV Provider?
Hello Andreas, this works well as long as you choose a sensible autosync interval and avoid editing appointments in the web interface and in Thunderbird at the same time. Unfortunately, there is a bug in Thunderbird that has existed for a long time, which sometimes leads to Thunderbird reporting "This item has recently been changed on the server" when a reminder is clicked away. It is completely unclear why Thunderbird would want to change something in the appointment. But you can click away these messages and they rarely occur if you have deactivated the option "Show missed reminders for writeable calendars" in Thunderbird. There is also the problem that appointment invitations are not created or answered via the primary e-mail address if e-mail aliases exist for the user [1]. But as I said, apart from that, this combination works quite well. As widely reported, the Sogo connector is currently not an option for Thunderbird 78.
