Re: [SOGo] Sogo and funambol installation

2013-05-14 Thread Marek Czardybon

Hello.

Last month I've updated my SOGo from 1.3 to 2.0 - I'M also using
Funambol and everythink works fine.

I suspect that you have make some mistake in Funambol configuration.
Can you verify ( or even upload somewhere screenshots ) your SOGo
SyncSource - I'm talking about Name, Source URI, Supported Type -
this part of configuration is responsible for connecting Funambol to
SOGo server itself..

Authentication with Funambol is OK with my Sogo users with this url

/opt/Funambol/bin/funambol start
cd /opt/Funambol/
./bin/install-modules

/opt/Funambol/admin/bin/funamboladmin

PS :sogo postgresql database is accessible from the funambol machine

yes. it is possible to do that. I've implemented that for few users.

Look here :

You can define this per user on his thunderbird config using advanced

It would be good to stop TB updates, but allow add-ons to be updated.

This can cause lighting update but next time when user will launch his

will reinstall it - causing reboot of thunderbird.

So i've disabled add-ons updates ( in my company users has not so much

DAV support doesn't use the web interface. For that reason, it
really works better being on its own VirtualHost on a separate
port. When you browse to the DAV host, you should get a login
prompt then a blank page.

True - I see the bank screen after login/password prompt

Yeap. I'm aware of that.

The result is that I have SOGo web interface working + CalDAV and can
not get iPhone AB sync with SOGo - error message from the phone - can
not establish SSL connection and account verification fails.

On apache I only have one SSL site with WebDAV enabled.

Thank you, Marek.
I don't see in your config 8843 port that is used for CardDAV?
Do you have iPhone phone book synced?

Regards,
Sergei.

Ehlo.a.

I'm not using port 8843 - just default HTTPS port : 443.
My users syncing both: phone books and calendars ...

In Iphone/Ipad they have to provide only hostname (without any ports or
additional URL parts ) ex: ical.domain.com

and username password.

SOPE library is connecting

to server.

You can safely ignore this message.

Re: [SOGo] SOGo address book synchronizing vs. Android (HTC Legend)

2011-06-27 Thread Marek Czardybon

On 27.06.2011 06:23, Wolf Siedler wrote:

Hi!

I am trying to synchronize a SOGo address book (our company directory)
to Android.

The SOGo side is using version 1.3.6.

On the phone side it is an HTC Legend with the latest HTC-supplied
update (Android 2.2, baseband 47.51.35.17U_7.13.35.05.

The Android app I try to use is CardDAV-Sync free beta, version 0.2.8.2.

The basic communication seems to happen:
During sync account setup, CardDAV-Sync accepts server name and
user/password.
Our server uses a self-signed certificate, for which the app asks for
confirmation.
Then it offers me two address books, private one and comany directory
(even under the correct names).

When trying to synchronize the company directory, I always get an error
that either URL is not a correct CardDAV ressource or that I don't have
access permissions to it (wrong user name/password).

I can not really believe that, from Thunderbird the very same settings
work just fine.

Before I contact the author:
Has anybody already gotten this combination (SOGo + HTC Legend +
CardDAV-Sync) to work?

Regards,
Wolf

ehlo.a.

I've got the same situation. But I'm syncing only my pernsonal address
book with my android phone - and this is working very good ...

Today I've tested sync with company shared address book ( LDAP directory
) and I've got the same error ...

in sogo.log i've got:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - - [27/Jun/2011:10:32:27 +0200] OPTIONS
/SOGo/dav/username/Contacts/ldap.dom/ HTTP/1.1 200 5723 -
CardDAV-Sync for Android (gzip)

URL for that shared book is good - it is working correctly in Thunderbird.
