Re: [SOGo] high memory and cpu usage

2016-02-29 Thread tfu
With following parameters set you should be able to monitor what's going from
the EAS point of view:
SOGoEASDebugEnabled = YES;
SOGoDebugRequests = YES

Try to identify what reuqests are running when the cpu usage is high.

Hi!
Compare the emails on the device with the emails in your inbox (webui).
One of the mails not showing up on the client causes the issue.
If you send me (privately) one of the files in /tmp I can have a look.

AW: Re: [SOGo] Outlook EAS with mailboxes > 3GB

2015-10-14 Thread tfu
Peter,

IMHO the parameter SOGoMaximumSyncResponseSize = 524288 is set too large.

  [...]
The value is in kilobytes. Setting
this to 512 means the response size
will be of 524288 bytes or less.
Note that if you set the value
too low and a mail message (or any other object) surpasses
it, it will still be synced but only this item will be.
  [...]

Depending on the email/attachment size it takes some time to fill response
buffer.
Setting this parameter to a lower value can help to avoid the "disconnects"
in OL.

Id suggest to try different value (starting with 10240) and check the
outcome.

  Thomas

Re: Aw: Re: [SOGo] SOGo shows empty folders

2015-07-29 Thread tfu
Hi,
start with what is described here:

http://www.sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGo%20Installation%20Guide.pdf
Microsoft Enterprise ActiveSync Tuning - Page 53

Set SOGoMaximumSyncResponseSize = 512

Compare symptom with following bugs:
0003294: IMAP LIST loop while ActiveSync a large (many folders) mailbox
0003293: SIGINT interrupt during ActiveSync synchronization and memory leak

Recreate the account with following debug parameters set:
SOGoEASDebugEnabled = YES
ImapDebugEnabled = YES

sogo.log should then give enough infos to analyze the problem.

Hi Guys,

We have the weird problem with some clients of us.
The problem is exists on my mobile (Android/4.4.2-EAS-1.3) and on my
older daughter's mobile (4.2.2-EAS-1.3) - and doesn't exist on my wife's
mobile (4.2.2-EAS-1.3 too), so I don't know, what is wrong.

When I set up the AS client, the mails/contacts/calendar were
synchronised correctly, but the folders were duplicated on the folder
list. On my daughter's mobile the folders were multiplied (4-5-6 times),
when I changed the period of synchronization. On my mobile always have
max. two copies.
Some times the folder-list seems as normal, but doesn't contain any
mails... When they are multiplied, the first one keeps the mails, the
other ones are empty.

My wife hasn't this problem, and I don't know why - she hasn't any
sub-folder. But my daughter and me have.

This problem has existed since upgraded my system to 2.2.10 - actually
we use 2.2.11a, but the problem still alive.

Hi Peti!

You can use sogo-tool manage-eas to display the which folders are currently
managed for a particular EAS client:

Display all registered devices:
 sogo-tool manage-eas listdevices

Display all folders for a particular device:
 sogo-tool manage-eas listfolders

Please post the result of listfolders, it might help to understand what is

sogo-tool manage-eas listdevices myuser

is empty:

0x0x8ab82bc[SOGoCache] Using host(s) 'localhost' as server(s)

My daughter's list empty too...

But my wife's list has the ID:

Have you ideas?
How can I register out phones? Mailbox deletion/recreation didn't help.

Ok; I seems that there is a problem with the cache entries for the synced
folders.
I assume that the column c_type has a value 127 which is wrong.
This was caused by a bug which was fixed some time ago, but old cache entries
migth still have the wrong value.

Can you please post the content of the table: sogo_cache_folder_username.

You can try to identify the deviceId from sogo.log and then use following
command to reset the device:
sogo-tool manage-eas resetdevice youruser deviceId found in sogo.log

Re: Re: [SOGo] ZEG 2.0 outlook 2007

2012-10-16 Thread tfu
Hi Wolfgang, I retested with latest ZEG (2.0.1) with the same result.

I tried following combination: OL 2007 on WINXP and OL 2007 on Win7 .
The result is always the same - sending an email fails with 0x80040115. I've
no problem with receiving mails and have no problem to sync calendar and
address book.

Do you have any hint on what could be wrong?

Re: Re: Re: [SOGo] ZEG 2.0 outlook 2007

2012-10-05 Thread tfu
Does the silence mean that nobody else has the described issue with ZEG 2.0?

I'd appreciate if someone could share what versions of outlook can successfully
work with ZEG 2.0.

I tested with this version:
Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (12.0.6661.5003) SP3 MSO (12.0.6662.5000) Running
on Windows 7
- with 2007 I cannot send mails - error 0x80040115

Office 2010 trial
- with 2010 I can send mails, but when looking into the sent folder in outlook
sender (From:) is empty

Are there any other steps needed beside adding entries to /etc/hosts (sogo.. ,
autodiscover...) to use ZEG 2.0?

Thanks,
Thomas

The complete error message is:
Task 'Microsoft Exchange - Sending' reported error (0x80040115) : 'The

What I did: downloaded ZEG 2.0 - imported it into VBox (networked type bridged)

created a profile - started OL

I made some more tests with test version of outlook 2010 and can succesfully
connect to my ZEG 2.0 vbox and it is possible to send emails (!) ... the only
strange thing is, that the mail in the sent-folder doesn't have a
'From:'-address.

[SOGo] ZEG 2.0 outlook 2007

2012-10-02 Thread tfu
Hi, I'm testing with ZEG 2.0 Released on September 27th 2012 (virtualbox).

I can successfully connect with outlook 2007 (after adding sogo.example.com
autodiscover.example.com into client's hosts file) but sending an email fails
with error 0x80040115.

Calendar and address book seems to work...

I wonder if I missed some required config steps to allow Outlook 2007 to work
with ZEG 2.0

Thx, Thomas
