[SOGo] Hardware Requirements
Hi, I realize this is quite a difficult question to ask but I wondered if anyone who has a sogo / openchange server in production could give some guidelines on what sort of hardware to run the system on - Amount of RAM / CPU etc Our site will have around 40 users all using Outlook and openchange. Please suggest me the hardware requirement for about 80 - 100 users. Nothing special. Every quad core with 8 GiB RAM should be enough. More RAM will speed up use of large email folders though. Needed hard drive space depends on your email usage. Normally an average of 5 GiB per user should be OK. But be aware, that there are email collectors with as much as 10 years of emails and heavy use of attachments. So we also have users with used email quotas up to 50 GiB.
