Re: Aw: [SOGo] Ubuntu 14.04LTS is available - libwbxml2-0 not in sogo repo

Ludovic . . .

I'm interested in rebuilding my SOGo server with Ubuntu 14.04

I have tested the "dist-upgrade" and found only a few errors (one of
which may be Inverse repositories not being ready for "trusty" upgrades
to "sogo," "sope" and "samba4")

So, I've wondered about building from scratch? Is there an upgrade path
being considered? And, is there documentation on building from scratch
with Ubuntu 14.04? Thanks for your support!

I'd also like to move from "openldap" to a full "samba4" domain. Am I
thinking right?

That's why I wrote "most likely".

The reason why it took longer is because we introduced a new cache for
ActiveSync - to improve synchronization speed and handle better
synchronization made in chunks. It will also allow us to detect folder
addition/rename/delete operations on the server and propagate the
changes on the ActiveSync clients. Finally, it'll allow us to support
soft-deletes.

If all goes well, this week will be the right one.

Thank you! :)

Yes it is, but not yet packaged.

After v2.2.4 is released, we'll do a long overdue overhaul of the
Samba/OpenChange packaging by updating them. At that point, we'll also
add support for Trusty.

In trusty repository missing also sogo-openchage package.
Is not necessary?

This is just cosmetic I think, if you put "deb

then install libwbxml2 and then switch back to "
deb http://inverse.ca/ubuntu trusty trusty" this seems fine ... just

Aw: [SOGo] Ubuntu 14.04LTS is available - libwbxml2-0 not in sogo repo

2014-04-18 Thread Infoomatic

Hi,

I found that libwbxml2-0 (>= 0.11.2) is not in the sogo repository of trusty.

This is just cosmetic I think, if you put "deb http://inverse.ca/ubuntu precise precise" in your sources.list and then install libwbxml2 and then switch back to "

deb http://inverse.ca/ubuntu trusty trusty" this seems fine ... just to let you know.

bye,

Dear Gents,

If you have LTS servers, and you think about the release upgrade, keep your mind the following.
14.04LTS (like the 13.10) countains the Apache 2.4 version, which have an important change.
All section will must have the "Require all granted" line (when you not use the apache auth support), otherwise your webserver won't start, and lot of functions won't work.

Just FYI.

Cheers,
Peter

We need to do a "test" environment to see what "breaks" and what

In my opinion, it won't be "SOGo" but "LDAP" or "OpenChange" or
"Samba" . . .

Anyway, thanks for starting this discussion.
