2022-02-24 Thread Philipp Kuehne
Hi Markus,

I'm with you that this is not a good solution.

We already created a bug report with debian so this error will get solved.

If you are interested here is the link
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1006337 .

It is just our temporary solution to make everything work again for the
moment.

Kind regards

Philipp

Hi Markus,

there seems to have already been reported bug to Debian and created Issue
for wbxml2 on GitHub. I did some tests, but it requires more effort.

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1006337
https://github.com/libwbxml/libwbxml/issues/76

[SOGo] Update of libexpat1 seems to break libwbxml2 (was: ActiveSync from Android not working, SOGO 5.5.1)

2022-02-24 Thread sogo-us...@list-post.ddt-consult.de

23.02.22, 21:21 +0100, Philipp Kuehne (philipp.kue...@indurad.com):

we also just upgraded to SOGo 5.5.1 and today experienced the same error.

Our setup:

* OS debian10

* installed with apt

* libexpat1 (2.2.6-2+deb10u3)

After a couple hours of searching we figured out, that there was an
update to the libexpat1 library (see
https://tracker.debian.org/news/1305688/accepted-expat-226-2deb10u3-source-into-oldstable-embargoed-oldstable/).

Since libwbxml depends on expat1 this error occurs.

After we downgraded libexpat1 from 2.2.6-2+deb10u3 to 2.2.6-2+deb10u1
the error was gone.

Downgrading to a package version with known security vulnerabilities is
not what I'd call a solution to the problem.

To me, it seems that libwbxml2 does not work with the updated libexpat1.
This is what should be fixed.

BTW: I can't find the sources of wbxml (and the corresponding Debian
build files) Inverse builds the nightly Debian packages from.

Can someone tell me where to get them?

[SOGo] UPDATE | Outlook Free/Busy: Only by ActiveSync?

2019-02-25 Thread Rene Schroth

SUPPLEMENT:
Should work also with CalDAV Synchronizer: found
https://sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGoOutlookConnectorConfigurationGuide.html
stating:

5.3.1. Free/busy Lookups

You can configure free/busy lookups globally in the Outlook options.

Select Options/Calendar and there free/busy information and use a
free/busy URL of your server with placeholder like %Name%, e.g.
http://myserver/freebusy.php/%Name%

For SOGo the URL looks like:
http:///SOGo/dav/public/%NAME%/freebusy.ifb

And SOGoEnablePublicAccess must be set to YES

Then every attendee in the Outlook planning view gets resolved with that
URL for a free/busy lookup against your server."

Two questions, because my Outlook F/B doesn't work, so far:

1) My SOGo server is called sogoirm.mycompany.com and the required
setting SOGoEnablePublicAccess has been configured to "YES".

The link I configured at the Outlook Free/Busy settings is:
"Veröffentlichen unter" (EN UI should be: "Publish"):
http://sogoirm.mycompany.com/SOGo/dav/public/%NAME%/freebusy.ifb

I configured the same link at "Suchen unter" (EN UI "Search").

Is that correct?

I'm not sure because I cannot find any file called "freebusy.ifb" on the
whole SOGo server filesystem.

2) If it will work some day. Is it true, that Outlook users exclusively
will be able to see other Outlook users' Free/Busy times? I.e. SOGo UI
users and Thunderbird users will not be able to get Outlook users'
Free/Busy times?

Thank a lot

BR,
IRMA

###

Hi SOGo Admins and Developers!

Referencing to the guide
https://sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGoInstallationGuide.html at section "7.
Microsoft Enterprise ActiveSync":

Outlook 2013/2016 freebusy lookups are supported using the Internet
Free/Busy feature of Outlook 2013/2016. Please see
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291621 for configuration instructions.
On the SOGo side, SOGoEnablePublicAccess must be set to YES and the URL
to use must be of the following format:
http:///SOGo/dav/public/%NAME%/freebusy.ifb

Does Free/Busy lookup and publication only work with ActiveSync profile,
or should it also work for a CalDAV profile using CalDAV Synchronizer 3.4?

It seems, that the Outlook Free/Busy implementation is completely
independent from the profile configuration. Isn't it?

Thanks a lot!

BR,
IRMA

[SOGo] Update of Active Sync

2017-04-06 Thread Christoph Kuhnert | YNA
Hi

I wanted to ask again if there is a plan to update active sync to Version 16?
It's because of the draft folder sync for EAS that's supposed to work with V16.

Thanks for the great Sogo product,

Kind Regards

Chris

Hi,

just updated to 3.1.2 and now I cannot compose any mailmessages anymore.
The text (message) editor windows is empty (editor bar not loaded)
When switching in settings to compose text instead of html, then I can

So definitely something broken with the html editor.

Aw: Re: [SOGo] Update from SOGo 2.3.4 to 2.3.7a Calendar no new event possible/can not send emails

2016-01-29 Thread Daniel Müller

What I did to solve it on my centos machine:

Updated not only SOGo by , yum update sogo, I did too update sope. So it looked like , yum update sogo sope* , and after that and a restart of the host it worked again with 2.3.7a as it should.

Hope it will help you.

Greetings

Daniel

Had the same problem when trying to update from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6 recently and rolled back to 2.3.4.
Thought it was some local issue but when you have the same problems with saving calendar events and mails, it seems to be a general issue.
We had a lot of proxy errors in the apache logs, like
Internal error: proxy: error reading status line from remote server 127.0.0.1:2
No errors in the sogo log.

Hope this can be solved.

Alex

Did you also update the sope packages?
Do you get any errors in your sogo log?

Dear all,

I gave SOgo 2.3.7a a try and updated my SOGo 2.3.4 with yum update sogo succesfully. Everything is working but the calendar add new  event and send emails are not working any more.
The reason is I can not save the event any more !?
Do I have to cahnge something in the config file?

Re: [SOGo] Bug in lightning for the invite attendee information from SOGo - UPDATE

2015-10-02 Thread Florent Boucher

Here is just an update.
In fact the problem occurs also in seamonkey as soon as you use another calendar
together with SOGo.

Lightning should normally be able to provide freebusy information from multiple
calendars (google, zimbra or SOGo) at the same time but the freebusy information
of SOGo are accessible at the moment it you only use SOGo.

I was use to work with zimbra and google together for instance when you want to
connect to external calendar (google ones : holidays, friends, familly) for
facilities.
Since I switched from Zimbra to SOGo, I can not use anymore other calendars than
SOGo if I want to have access to free busy facilities. *Quite embarrassing !*

I will post this bug also in Lightning as I don't know yet where it comes from
either SOGo or Lightning.

Thank for those who have an idea to solve it.
Regards
Florent

[SOGo] SOGo update server nginx

2015-08-30 Thread Stefan Klatt
Hello,

has anybody a working update server configuration including integrator
configuration for nginx and/or a working update XML file as example?
I tried a lot of, but I get every time the error

addons.update-checkerWARNUpdate manifest for
sogo-integra...@inverse.ca did not contain an updates property

If I try to manual connect the update server (with firefox) I get an XML
file. I don't know if this is correct because I didn't find an working
example.
Actual I run integrator 24.0.5 and configured 31.0.1 on the update server.

2015-08-04 Thread Khapare Joshi
steve,

thanks, I rolled back to 2.1.16. You probably right. I will probably
upgrade from 2.1.16 to 2.1.17 then move on that.

but when I hit yum upgrade it updated to 2.3.0, so, perhaps sogo guys can
recommend me the right way of upgrade to 2.3.0

I was going to ask if during your upgrade it moved from 2.1.16 to 2.2.8
(listed in the Instructions) That was the version before 2.3.0 which
required running the script, so I wondered if the script could be modified.

Read the script to see where it failed? It might have looked for 2.2.17
and found only 2.1.16

I was going to ask if during your upgrade it moved from 2.1.16 to 2.2.8
(listed in the Instructions) That was the version before 2.3.0 which
required running the script, so I wondered if the script could be modified.

Since the Connector and Integrator extensions are not hosted on the

updated out of band (from the mozilla site), but lightning is another story.

But my point is, how to do this for just Lightning?

I have lots of extensions, and I want all of the others to auto-update,
but don't want to have to hassle with manually uploading them to the
SOGo server every time there is an update, so how do I stop just
Lightning from auto-updating?

There appears to be a way to disable this for a single extension using
the config editor, but I hate resorting to that if there is a better
way, which is why I'm asking here.

[SOGo] Questions re: SOGo update server

2014-04-28 Thread Charles Marcus

Hi all,

This will be the first time I have modified anything to do with the
Update Server after the SOGo guys installed this for me, and it is still
forcing the install of the older connector/24.0.2 and Integrator/24.0.3
extensions. I'm ready to update these to the latest 24.0.4, but I have
some questions about the configuration.

I have modified the new Integrator extension and uploaded both of the
new versions to /var/www/plugins folder (same folder that also contains
the updates/php file).

Questions:

1. Is this the correct location? How do I confirm this?

I'm new to both Debian *and* SOGo, and am not even sure where the
DocumentRoot is for the SOGo web server.

2. Owners for Connector and Integrator are different:

Connector is root:root, and Integrator is the username I assigned for
the SOGo dev who remoted in and did this install for me.

Does it matter? What should the owners and permissions be for each/both?

3. Do I need to restart SOGo after modifying the updates.php script?

Thanks,

Charles

It should be handled with the update server and/or manually.

Why? Because sometimes there are newer versions of Lightning that are
not compatible.

Re: [SOGo] Update from 2.0.5 to 2.0.7

2013-07-31 Thread sr42...@gmail.com

Hello,

At the end of the SOGo Installation and configuration guide ( version
2.0.7 ), I can read this :

/Upgrading//
//
//This section describes what needs to be done when upgrading to the
current version of SOGo //

//from the previous release.//
//
//2.0.5//
//The confi guration is now stored in /etc/sogo/sogo.conf. Perform the
following commands as //

//root to migrate your previous user defaults://
//install -d -m 750 -o sogo -g sogo /etc/sogo//
//sudo -u sogo sogo-tool dump-defaults  /etc/sogo/sogo.conf//
//chown root:sogo /etc/sogo/sogo.conf//
//chmod 640 /etc/sogo/sogo.conf//
//sudo -u sogo mv ~/GNUstep/Defaults/.GNUstepDefaults \//
//~/GNUstep/Defaults/GNUstepDefaults.old/

So I think this must be done...
( even if it seems to work without doing anything more )

Regards.

No.
But there are new options in the SOGo config.
Just read the documentation or the changelogs.

[SOGo] Sogo update server not working

2013-07-21 Thread Heiner Markert

Hello,

I configured SOGo update server on my local SOGo server under /plugins.
When I start thunderbird and try to push a new extension, thunderbird
displays please wait until the update has finished (or similar, I get
the message in German).

Nothing more seems to happen.

The web server log shows to GETs to the updates.php script:
[21/Jul/2013:14:02:15 +0200] GET
/plugins/updates.php?plugin=sogo-integra...@inverse.caversion=0.00platform=Linux_x86_64-gcc3

However, now further call in order to actually download the xpi-files is
logged.

Has someone experienced similar behavior and can give me hints how to
solve it?

Best regards

[SOGo] update 2.0.2a-1

2012-11-15 Thread Jean-Michel OLTRA

Hi all,

Searching for the packages of 2.0.2 version, for archiving, I found the
update to 2.0.2a-1 (for Debian packages, at least).

This update fixes the issue concerning pdf attachments (and probably jpg
files too).

Thanks to the Inverse Team for providing us, so quickly, this new
version.

And by doing administrator@sogo:~$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -s we would be

You probably want to check the Scripts directory (in tar dist--not
sure where this lives in your distro) as I believe there has been a
couple of database schema updates since 1.3.11. Other than that, just
update the files and restart all of the services.

[SOGo] SOGo Update Server, Thunderbird, and Autoconfiguration

2012-10-15 Thread Simon Walter
I'm preparing to deploy a Thunderbird with the SOGo add-ons, Integrator
and Connector.

I've read about the SOGo Update Server in the documentation. Is
Autoconfiguration[1] still useful with the SOGo Update Server? It seems
like I can accomplish what Autoconfiguration does by pushing preferences
via the SOGo Integrator. Or, are the preferences I can push only those
used by Integrator and Connector?

Another related question is, has anyone deployed Thunderbird with INF
files[2] with Integrator and Connector included? Anything I should look
out for?

Many thanks,

Simon

I'm on 1.3.12c with PgSQL database.

Users are loosing their preferences without touching them.

Since I restored the database :
  * I checked that the sogo_user_profile.c_defaults has changed
  * I'm pretty sure users didn't change preferences because there is
no POST like this in the logs :

Hello Francis,

thanks for the quick response.

I've installed
one:/# dpkg --get-selections | grep libsope
libsope-appserver4.9install
libsope-core4.9 install
libsope-gdl1-4.9install
libsope-ldap4.9 install
libsope-mime4.9 install
libsope-xml4.9 install

I hope those are the right ones as they were automatically installed by apt-get

[SOGo] Update from 1.3.5 to 1.3.11

2011-12-26 Thread alain.thabaud
Bonjour,

Is it possible to update SOGo from 1.3.5 to 1.3.11 ?
Les paquets suivants seront mis à jour :
  libasn1-8-heimdal libgssapi2-heimdal libheimntlm0-heimdal libhx509-3-heimdal
libkrb5-25-heimdal libkrb53
  libroken18-heimdal libsbjson2.3 libsope-appserver4.9 libsope-core4.9
libsope-gdl1-4.9 libsope-ldap4.9 libsope-mime4.9
  libsope-xml4.9 libwind0-heimdal sogo sope4.9-gdl1-mysql
sope4.9-gdl1-postgresql sope4.9-libxmlsaxdriver
19 paquets mis à jour, 0 nouvellement installés, 0 à enlever et 0 non mis à
jour.

Or is it necessary to update step by step, 1.3.5 to 1.3.6, then 1.3.6 to
1.3.7...

Thanks

Re: [SOGo] Re: Centos 5 sogo update 1.3.9

2011-11-14 Thread Khapare Joshi
What I had to do was yum remove sope49* and yum remove sogo* also yum
remove gnuste* and install sogo again yum install sogo. Then copy your
config in right place. Well, that did work for me. Maybe there are some old
libraries, files still associated with old installation. Installaing new
sogo- you are loosing nothing really. Just a few more mintues.
