Any adjustments required in amavisd-new? No, should be fine with 2.6.4. Some of the new 3.3.0 features are already recognized and used by this version. So, it looks as if I'm misunderstanding the issue. Per a private email, the dependency will only come into play for amavisd-new if it's detected to be in use. Thus, if I'm understanding correctly, if you use amavisd-new, it'll force a dependency of 2.6.4, but if you don't have amavisd-new installed, it won't try to force installation of amavisd-new 2.6.4.
