Re: [xwiki-users] Can't add users to groups anymore after update from XWiki Enterprise1.9 to 2.0 and XAR reimport

2009-11-20 Thread Steven Calkins
Thank you Sergiu, for your prompt answer.

I checked for the enterprise XARs in the maven 2.0 snapshot respository (e.g.
http://maven.xwiki.org/snapshots/com/xpn/xwiki/products/xwiki-enterprise-wiki/2.0-SNAPSHOT/xwiki-enterprise-wiki-2.0-20091118.003714-228.xar
) and in the 2.1 snapshot repository (e.g.
http://maven.xwiki.org/snapshots/com/xpn/xwiki/products/xwiki-enterprise-wiki/2.1-SNAPSHOT/xwiki-enterprise-wiki-2.1-20091118.001902-254.xar
). Neither number corresponded to the version installed on our intranet
website (XE 2.0.3.24848). Is there a danger installing the later version? Or is
the dafault XAR located somewhere else?

Steven Calkins

Then these old pages could be saved under other names, and only these

Can you refresh the browser cache? You also need to import the new default XE

[xwiki-users] XWiki developer conference

2009-11-20 Thread Sergiu Dumitriu
Hello friends of XWiki,

Several XWiki members will be participating at FOSDEM next year in
February ( http://fosdem.org/ ), and we're trying to determine if
there's interest in applying for a devroom, which would mean half a day
or more of XWiki-related presentations.

- Are there any people interested in participating to such presentations?
- Does anybody want to do such a presentation, besides XWiki committers?

I'd need answers to these questions soon, since the deadline for
application is in two days. Note that FOSDEM is a developer-oriented
conference, so presentations should be rather technical.

FYI, there is no participation fee, anybody can attend FOSDEM as long as
there are places in the rooms.

Did you change any of the poms? The client side of web/wysiwyg module
depends on the client side of the web/gwt module. As a consequence the
GWT compiler requires the web/gwt sources in order to build the WYSIWYG
editor. The error messages show that xwiki-web-gwt-1.8.1-sources.jar is
not on the classpath. This shouldn't happen as long as web/wysiwyg pom
declares a dependency on the sources jar generated by web/gwt with the
maven-source-plugin.

Try to build the web modules separately in this order: gwt,
xwiki-gwt-dom, wysiwyg, standard.

Hope this helps,
Marius

[xwiki-users] xwiki skin changes out of the blue?

2009-11-20 Thread Bubulina

Hello
i am most amazed since yesterday regarding xwiki and the very weird changes
of skin, as a result of an editing a simple page, or editing a panel.
i have no logical explanation to this. I just edited an existing panel(added
a few normal links for pages from the wiki pages) AND my surprise was that
on viewing the pages i got myself a different color of skin.
yesterday, on another wiki(different computer. nothing to connect them) i
edited a page and got a differnet skin.
does anyone from the developers know anything about this? it cannot just
happend to me twice :D
Looking forward to discussing this.
Thank you.

This is used to encapsulate page data sent and received to/by the XMLRPC
subsystem.

However, at the moment, the storePage method only considers the following
fields of a Page object when actually storing the page :

- Content
- Title
- Parent

So whatever else you set in the Page object is ignored.

You'll need to reimport the Search panel since the CSS for it is

See
