flat file  and other formats

• Responsible for importing data from various sources and providing summary

support analytical applications

• Provides and owns the technical details for implementation and maturing
of BI solutions

The primary applications use Microsoft SQL Server 2005, C#.Net and
ASP.Net.  Development uses Microsoft Visual Studio. The system collects
data from various internal and external data sources. We host the data in
our own data warehouse. Data ETL and integration is a key part of the
system, and SSIS technology is used for this purpose. The role will be the
primary SSIS developer responsible for ETL and data integration for our new
projects as well as participation in converting old DTS packages into SSIS
packages.



This role involves coordination with other team members as well as data
source providers. Effective technical communication skill is needed. Also,
basic capital market knowledge will be desired. This role will also work as
support backup which occasionally includes work out of office hours.



*Essential duties and responsibilities:*

· General tasks will include data ETL and integration for
compliance applications

· Software development primarily use SQL and C#, Visual Studio with
SSIS

· Production support backup requires immediate response sometimes
during evening hours



*Qualifications:*

   - BS in Computer Science or Engineering
   - 5 years of application development and support using C#
   - 5 years of experience on any RDBMS hands-on experience
   - at least 2 years of hands-on experience using SSIS
   - Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in problem analysis
   and resolutions
   - Highly motivated and have ability to work under pressure
   - Able to work effectively and efficiently on their own initiative as
   well as to work as part of a team
   - Knowledge of the financial capital markets and trading systems is a
