[vchkpw] Quota problem
Hi people, I have a problem with quota in my server. I put 50Mb for an users, but the quota don't block the new messages. In qmailadmin, I see users with 20Mb usage but in the server with du command I see more than 70Mb. Is very strange, the .trash folder dont't enters in quota limit, why? I use Debian 3.1 sarge release with qmailadmin 1.2.3 and vpopmail 5.4.10 Thanks Marcos
[vchkpw] OT - bouncesaying
Hi all, I use vpopmail with procmail and i have a rule if the user passed your quota, i return with bouncesaying, but the message error is not returned by qmail. My .procmailrc is: :0fhw * ^From: | formail -I "X-Quota: $QUOTA" :0 * ^X-Quota: noquota { EXITCODE=100 :0w * ^X-Quota: noquota |/var/qmail/bin/bouncesaying "User is over quota, mail bounced." } The message return without error "User is over quota, mail bounced.". What's happen, any idea? Thanks for advance Marcos Dutra
Re: [vchkpw] Problems with SMTP Relay
> > Juliano > > Marcos Dutra wrote: > > I suggest smtp authenticate then pop before smtp. > > > > Marcos > > > > Em Sex 27 Fev 2004 10:57, Juliano Primavesi - CyberWeb Networks escreveu: > > > Where can I find this patch? > > > > > > Juliano > > > > > > Neil Spierling wrote: > > > > Is there any special way of configure'ing vpopmail when tcpserver has > > > > the patch applied n installed (ie --enable-tcpserver-file etc flags) > > > > > > > > -Original Message- > > > > From: Shane Chrisp [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > > Sent: Friday, 27 February 2004 3:30 p.m. > > > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > > Subject: RE: [vchkpw] Problems with SMTP Relay > > > > > > > > Your other option is to run the mysql patch for tcpserver. [vchkpw] Big server
Hi people, I would like make a big server with qmail +vpopmail +mysql +procmail. I think in this structure: Server 1: Mx domain + smtp delivery +filters (Antispam, user filter(procmail) and antivirus) This server basically is the mail gateway of all domains, where is passed in the filters rules per domain and redirect all mails to server 2 Server 2: Pop3 accounts + mysql server Here is created all accounts. This schema is good for multiple domains? Another question is how do i do the message delivery the messages from server1 to server2? Thanks Marcos Dutra

Re: [vchkpw] Quota domain
Hi Eduardo, I will write in english because the other people didn't understand nothing =] Well, i don't understand very well what you wrote but, i think in another solution them this... Domain quota is very different then user quota, because i will management these domains, think more or less in 2000 domains, h this is the dead :-) Marcos Dutra Em Qua 28 Ago 2002 11:41, você escreveu: > On Wed, 28 Aug 2002, Marcos Dutra wrote: > > The vpopmail package has the domain quota default but, if apply the > > default quota in 1000 bytes por example in @domain.com, it apply in > > each mailbox 1000 bytes. > > > > Well is possible put 1000 bytes in a domain, not in a each mailbox? > > Per example if i have 10 mailbox, the maximum total of all mailbox is > > 1000 bytes in this domain. > > Use a per-user domain basis, aplying system quotas to each user. > > as vpopmail user do:
[vchkpw] Quota domain
Hi people The vpopmail package has the domain quota default but, if apply the default quota in 1000 bytes por example in @domain.com, it apply in each mailbox 1000 bytes. Well is possible put 1000 bytes in a domain, not in a each mailbox? Per example if i have 10 mailbox, the maximum total of all mailbox is 1000 bytes in this domain. Thanks Marcos Dutra
[vchkpw] pop3 auth
Hi people, Today again i've got a message "File busy try again later!" in my kmail when i tried log in pop3 server. Well my boss received too this message, and i tried up the value from /proc/sys/fs/file-max to 10240, and the file-nr is 8192628510240 Verifing the problem, i lookup in the file file_lock.c in the vpopmail source end has this code: int get_read_lock(FILE *fs) { int try = 0; while(read_lock(fileno(fs), 0, SEEK_SET, 0) < 0) { if (errno == EAGAIN || errno == EACCES || errno ==ENOLCK ) { /* there might be other errors cases in which * you might try again. */ if (++try < MAX_TRY_RLOCK) { (void) sleep(2); continue; } (void) fprintf(stderr,"File busy try again later!\n"); return(-1); } return(-2); } return(0); } I see part of code above and this error is caused by what exactly? I see the file vpopmail.c and it have a function called POP_AUTH_OPEN_RELAY, it call a file_lock if the cdb generation give a error. I don't no why this error appears to me, somebody knows?
