Hi Luca, Luca Olivetti wrote: That shouldn't be necessary with 1.5.8: I only have 3 locales installed but I can select all languages from the osd setup menu (and see the corresponding translations). hm, that is strange. [vdr] [PATCH] jumpplay patch for vdr-1.5.7
Hi! The jumpplay patch for vdr-1.5.7 is available: http://toms-cafe.de/vdr/download/vdr-jumpplay-0.9-1.5.7.diff (also applicable to vdr-1.5.8) Translators! There are currently only English and German texts in the patch. Further language texts are welcome. This patch changes the replay behaviour for recordings that contain editing marks. It allows to immediately continue the replay after jumping forward to the next mark, and to automatically jump over the commercial break to the next start mark, if an end mark is reached. The features of this patch can be turned on or off in the replay setup. See README.jumpplay included in the patch for details, history and contributors. Re: [vdr] Mid range CPU choice
covert covert schrieb: Thanks again. The Asus M2NPV-VM looks like a great choice for me since it is easy to get in Australia. I am looking at the AN-M2HD now and it also available in Australia. The Asus has Composite out and the Abit has HDMI. I have VGA, RGB, S-Vid, HDMI inputs on my TV. In order of best to worse for quality ? VGA HDMI RGB S-Video HDMI VGA RGB S-Video is the order. HDMI is digital und should those provide best quality (equals to DVI. The Abit also has the newer 7050 vs the 6150 on the Asus. The Asus has the extra module for HDTV output while the Abit has HDMI attached to the board. The big question is does the 7050 chipset provide any extra acceleration in Mpeg2 encoding / decoding to the 6150 ? I think both provide mpeg2 decoding avveleration - XvMC So many choices and so many factors.
