[vdr] VDR frontend device: Xtreamer

2009-11-27 Thread Theunis Potgieter
Hi guys, I've recently bought an Xtreamer device www.xtreamer.net
(apparently a mvix product). I would just like to know if anybody else
got it working with streamdev-server plugin on vdr-1.6.0?

Thanks
Theunis

Re: [vdr] VDR frontend device: Xtreamer

2009-11-27 Thread Stuart Morris
Hauppauge MediaMVP and vdr-vompserver plugin.

Years of happy use and good waf. No vdr osd so no access to plugins but I can
access them with vdr-xine on my server.

Sadly standard definition only. I have yet to see an equivalent HD mediaplayer
that can be as readily hacked like the MediaMVP has.

Re: [vdr] Dynamic PIDs

2009-11-27 Thread Füley István

True. I don't know, however, if it is reasonable to request YLE to
change the pids before the actual programme stream starts.

Couple of weeks ago I reported to the Hugarian Hello HD provider,
[1], that they
are not sending the correct encoding for their EPG content (ISO-8859-2).
Actually they
did not send any encoding information, so VDR used the default ISO6937
encoding, which was wrong.
After I send a mail to them, they replayed that several other users with
Technisat receivers complained about this, and they did not send EPG
encoding info until now, because official HelloHD STB-s were setup to use
the right encoding.
From 20 november Hello HD started to send the right EPG encoding

inforamtion [2], and since then the EPG works fine on VDR.

So the conclusion is, that you can try to send a mail to YLE, maybe there
is somebody there, who cares about this.

[vdr] bug in 1.7.10 ?

2009-11-27 Thread martinez
The sat channel TVE1 on 19e changed transponder a few days ago.
I have a timer recording something on Thursdays.
So yesterday vdr would crash within 3 seconds of starting (once the
recording was to be on)

I had to edit timers.conf to disable the timer event and then and only
then edit the channel with the new transponder data, restart vdr (otherwise
it was showing a black screen)
before things went back to normal.

I would be highly interested to porting VDR to Kathrein UFS-910. Are
they using a similar platform?

Re: [vdr] deinterlacing VDR-HD on xine?

Crop feature on xineliboutput is what you require, except it doesn't
work without a patch when using vdpau. The same goes for vdr-xine.

Have a look here - http://vdr-portal.de/board/thread.php?threadid=86804ű

Does autocrop feature also works with vdr-xine plugin?
I patched xine-vdpau with the patches from the first post of the
mentioned thread, it compiles fine, but when I start xine, it says the
autocrop post plugin does not exists.

Should I use xineliboutput to have autocrop?
