Same here... and I agree, killing it seems to do the job - the new

Re: proxy

2009-12-11 Thread Dirk Stoop
Hi Neoraptor,

Progress is being made and we have a basic implementation of proxy
support now. It was scheduled to be in the next update, but we've
decided to release 1.0.7 first to take care of a couple of critical
bugs, before we're done with fleshing out and testing new features
like this one.

Sorry to keep you waiting, I can promise that proxy support will be in
Versions soon though.

I'd like to second this. Although there are a ton of features I'd like to
see available, I think the way they are implemented in Versions and how
the developers seem to take good time to let the features bake for the
right time to just feel right before releasing it, is awesome.

There's enough tools out there that just packs all of SVN's available
features in ways that make them perhaps even harder to use than the
command line. Versions isn't one of those tools and I'd suggest and vote
very strongly for this to continue.

Keep up the great work!

Agreed. Versions performs admirably for me, and I'm not afraid to use Terminal
to accomplish tasks it doesn't yet support. Just remember, that's what we used
to have to do, for everything, back when there were no GUIs... ;-) I'm not
saying I don't want to see the features, but I'm not one to look a gift horse

icing on the already delicious cake.

Yep agreed. For me Versions : svn :: the Finder : Terminal `cd, ls, cp, mv`
commands. You can do everything on the command line, but it's nice to use a
(well-designed) GUI for the tedious stuff.
