[VFB] Smart Redneck Fisherman......

A redneck with a bucket full of live fish, was approached recently by a game 
warden in Arkansas as he started to drive his boat away from a lake. The game 
warden asked the man, "May I see your fishing license please?" "Naw, sir," 
replied the redneck. "I don't need none of them there papers. These here are my 
pet fish."

"Pet fish!?!?"

"Yep. Once a week, I bring these here fish o'mine down to the lake and let 'em 
swim 'round for a while. Then when I whistle, they swim right back into my net 
and I take 'em home."

"What a line of baloneyyou're under arrest."

The redneck said, "It's the truth, Mr. Gov'ment man. I'll show ya!
We do this all the time!!"

"WE do, now, do WE?" smirked the warden. "PROVE it!"

The redneck released the fish into the lake and stood and waited. After a few 
minutes, the warden said, "Well?"

"Well, WHUT?" said the redneck.

The warden asked, "When are you going to call em back?"

"Call who back?"

"The FISH," replied the warden!

"Whut fish?" asked the redneck.

Truth:
We may not be as smart as some city slickers, but we ain't as dumb as some 
government employees.

Do any of you know of a link to Roman Moser's videos that are
NOT dubbed over in Russian?  I'd like to view his videos, but can't
understand the Russian.  (In one of my earlier incarnations, I was a
German linguist in the Army - so his native (??) German shouldn't be a
problem.)


(As a side note, I wonder if Roman Moser is related to the
great Italian cyclist, Francesco Moser?  While living in Germany, I was
a member of a German cycling team from 1980 thru 1984, and my bicycle
was built by Francesco Moser.  Still have it in the attic.)

Bob,

Roman's website (which is ultra-slow today) sells his videos.  I've got 
a sneaking suspicion that the Russian outfit (FlyShopRusAngler) got hold 
of his videos, translated them and then put them on Youtube.


If you go to Youtube and search on "Roman Moser", you'll get many pages 
of fly tying videos.  As you leaf through the pages, you'll find Moser 
flies tied by other folks.

Do any of you know of a link to Roman Moser's videos that are NOT dubbed 
over in Russian?  I'd like to view his videos, but can't understand the 
Russian.  (In one of my earlier incarnations, I was a German linguist in 
the Army - so his native (??) German shouldn't be a problem.)

(As a side note, I wonder if Roman Moser is related to the great Italian 
cyclist, Francesco Moser?  While living in Germany, I was a member of a

some jet-stream tail, as someone fishing

1,2,3 results in: You are thinking about fishing, weather is great. Don,
you should head out and catch some trout. But remember, we don't like it
to miss fishing reports.

now, there was Buggs, and I remember well, he was one of the inhabitants
of the baits hotel. You lost him somewhere in the past - and you said
that was good for you. Maybe not? Buggs was always linked with tying.
So, Don, the fuill message is:

A. grab Buggs, tear out of him some fur and hair
B. Do some nice flies and nymphs
C. head out fishing
D. and send an report.


My fishing is slow this year. My son had a great message for us end of
last year - he wants to marry his girlfriend.
2nd part of the message: We'd like to do the celebration in your place
incl. the garden.
Well, half a year of work to redo all things, but today is the final
one. Today is the marriage. And we are ready.
On Monday I will ty some flies - and on Tuesday I go fishing. Period.

Maybe Don, something what Buggs wanted to tell you.

BTW: Some of you might know Robert - we attended a Striperhead outing
some years ago. If you want to send him an email r.zillm...@gmx.de

The dot between the r and the z is important, otherwise I get the email.
