[VFB] body repair

2013-07-30 Thread Joyce M Westphal
Actually, this is not the first vehicle we fixed. We did the paint and
body work on Judy's Dasher VW which a deer killed. Then we did my 1982
Datsun, has the carpet yet to be put in, and now we are redoing Judy's 1959
B100 IH pickup. We thought we had it done (after 4 years) but the clear
coat has a problem and is peeling off one side, so we are redoing that and
some rust spots that we failed to get on the top of the cab. Our UVU has a
great Collision repair technology 101, repeatable class that we have taken
over the past 7 years. Fantastic instructors. Joyce

2013-07-30 Thread Anthony Spezio
I just think you guys are doing s great job. More ladies should be that
talented.
I have my daughters family visiting. They got here yesterday. Last night my Son
In Law decided to take the kids to get ice cream. My daughter told him to watch
for Deer as we have seen a lot of them this year. They left and were back in
less than five minuets. A deer came out between the house next door and our
house and ran into the side of their new van. He said the deer tumbled but got
up and jumped the fence and ran off into the pasture. I hope it is OK. My
daughter is a animal lover and she had a fit wanting to know if the deer was
OK. It appears it was a hit on the drivers side but no apparent damage to the
van.

Glad no one was hurt. I expect if the deer bounced off he was bruised but
OK..this is often the case. Saw one yesterday in the low place by the river
as I went to work..slowed down and dimmed the lights and sure enough,
another one ran across the highway in front of me. If there's one, there's
usually another. They are beautiful creatures though. NOw you get to pull
the dents in the side of the van..or perhaps it is more cost effective to
simply replace the dented doors. Joyce
