[videoblogging] What is best way to interface camera with Live stream on Veetle.com
I've had success utilizing all the other functions provided by VEETLE but other than my laptop webcam I encounter sound distortion when I plug in my video/camcorder. Can someone get back to me at quantumvisi...@yahoo.com if you have some tips. [videoblogging] Re: Apple laptop
I was a PC guy a few years ago and bought a Mac Mini to get into Apple and video production. There's no looking back. Although I have an iMac now, the Mac Mini did me proud. iMovie (free with OS X) can work for your basic videos, but Final Cut Pro (or Express) is the real powerhouse. Ratbag ... once you go Mac, you'll never go back. [videoblogging] Reducing HD files on mac/Imovie without loosing HD
1) reducing HD files without loosing HD, is this possible? 2) I have uploaded HD to youtube but took 2 days with repeated fails, and also took many HOURS to upload, those that got through finally 3) I watched Ryan's Freevlog vid's again on blip I think they are at for now, and reduced the size several times for a few and couldn't upload through Tubemogul, even the 300 mb, one stated prior one of my vid's was over 800 mb! 4) Tubemogul has increased my uploading size to 500MB, which I am very grateful for, however, I still have some that are over that, and want to know if following Ryan's directions to smaller, won't that take the HD away - it states in imovie that only one export (I am saving to computer) is HD? 5) The videos are not longer than 10 minutes 6) I have uploaded proir HD from old pc laptop and never had the problems I have with imovie and uploading (my learning curve?) any help with this appeciated, I am holding off uploading through Tubemogul, until I am up to it psychically and I have this sorted out first. btw, I got out (extremely rare for me), and made a make shift steadcam for my power wheelchair with my mini 1033 kodak. will be grabbing a sanyo when able and if it's light enough Thank you Cheryl PUBLIC APPEAL FOR CHERYL -not finished getting help I hopehttp://cherylbenson.ca http://cherylspeaksout.blogspot.com http://youtube.com/cherylspeaksout PHOTOGRAPHY - http://cheryl-benson.fineartamerica.com http://cheryl-benson.artistwebsites.com [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
[videoblogging] Going Live on Veetle With Digital Video Camera Other Than Webcam
Going Live With Digital Video Camera Other Than Webcam The main issue we're tackling now is integrating the veetle web cam feature into our broadcast schedule. While the built in web cam on the laptop(s) we're using function - the images lag because they're not encoded. When we utilize a secondary digital video camera source the picture is great but the sound gets distorted as we broadcast (primarily we're involved with arts organizations - live bands, poetry readings et al) We've written to Veetle and posted issue on some video blogging sites but no one has come up with a solution. We'd like to have the issue resolved by fall when the college semester starts so we can have a live show each day featuring local artists playing live - right now we pre-record, edit and then stream. Anyone can do that but doing Live TV - that's something we want to take advantage of and share with other non-profit organizations so we can create some interesting news, entertainment and local sports/theater-events without having to rely on local television/cable operations.
