very cool Adrian ! some time ago I did http://the9th.com/?p=19 also 2 movies looped side by side but embedded this way. no XML my question. supposed you like to play several unlooped movies that will play consecutively. when a movie complete downloading, a new movie will load. is that possible to do using XML file? cheers, doron golan

Our site is up and running again. http://dvblog.org/ We had a huge crash in Oct. 2006 and lost all data. Our backup did not work. We recovered a lot of the old posts from the Daily Vodcasts archive and we're now republishing the whole lot, interspersed with new stuff. Cheers, Doron

[videoblogging] Is quicktime commited to browser presentation?
I'd like to question Apple's commitment and support for the quicktime plug-in for browsers. It looks to me that there has been a major break through with the introduction of the H264 codec for video which is undoubtedly superior (my personal opinion) to codecs that precede it. I noticed a shift in Apple's presentation policy for their QuickTime gallery site - movies are served only through the stand alone quicktime player. http://www.apple.com/quicktime/guide/hd/ also, in QuickTime Guide, http://www.apple.com/quicktime/guide/ movies are now available through launching QT player as well. (the link to it is a .mov file !) Truth is that there is a current imbalance between Broadband - that has not been broaden fast enough to meet podcasts and video demands and the new and more accessible HD format (larger movie files basically). But still, I think that viewing a mov file in a browser is a different experience. it has that unique look and feel, different navigation options, and a great web history that I wish apple will not fail to acknowledge and support, at least for as long as browsers are available in this rapid changed market. doron dvblog.org Yahoo! one of the downside of 7.0.2 is that you have to use the controll bar to stop and resume playback. as far as I remmember, in all former versions (from QT2.5 to QT7.01), you could click within the movie's frame to stop, and double click to resume playback.
