[videoblogging] Send by email, share on Wordpress?

2010-06-13 Thread gogen001
Hi.
Sorry if this has already been answered and discussed, but since blip.tv no
longer accepts vids by email I'm trying to find another site which can accept
mp4 file by e-mail and distribute it to:
- youtube
- wordpress blog (my own domain)

Using blip.tv's web uploading works fine but is a real pain when used on mobile
phone.

Thank you very much for your help and suggestions!

[videoblogging] Re: Loren says this group should be ashamed

2007-08-08 Thread gogen001
As a newbie in this group I somehow thought it would be more
technical, unfortunately there's a lot of (unnecessary?) flaming going
around some racist or whatever they are videos, while, for example,
the post about movlogging with bluetooth remains with only two replies.

OK, my bad if I expected something different.
Sorry, I'm just being sincere.

PS
David, I'm posting below your reply 'cause I know you better than
others, no other reasons.

It should be ashamed over what is happening to it right here with this
 discussion.
The only thing I can say at this point about Feldman, Podtech, Scoble,
AND this group as a whole with the infighting is *pt*

OK, here's an idea...

The discussion about said racist video is important, I believe. The
discussion started with several people saying — hey, it's ok. The
video isn't funny, but whatever, it was cool / and other people

I agree, but I see it as only ONE person profiting about this - the
author of the video who received huge propaganda.
There are so many racist and similar videos out there so, to make a
point, it would be better for all of us here to make

OUR OWN *FIGHT RACISM* video and post it.

How? Each of us can record a word or two, whatever, then someone could
put it all together and such video would be the strongest message on
the forum.

So, let this be my official newbie-videoblogger proposal to... well,
whoever is in charge here :-)

Congrats on your videoblog! David Howell just pointed me over to it
interest. I spent a month in Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia last summer,

Thanks to you, to David and glad you visited my country!

and have many friends there. I know ethnicity / nationality has
played a huge role in what life is like in the former Yugoslavia for
the last 10-15 years. Maybe that's why you really don't want this
list to be going on and on about race-based tensions.

True. Maybe deep inside I want to be somewhere where ethnicity or
colour is not important but I always bump into this.

[videoblogging] Movlogging with Bluetooth

2007-08-06 Thread gogen001
Hi all, this is my first post here so sorry if I make any mistakes (re
posting, composing, topic starting etc, also have in mind that English
is not my native language, ktnx).

I'm interested in one thing - is it possible to movlog using
Bluetooth, in a way that you can video yourself as usual, but record
the voice from the device plugged in your ear.

I'll take Mr Rupert Howe (twittervlog.tv) as an example 'cause his
vlogs are well known and are made using N93 which is exactly what I'm
 referring to in this post.
Would this device (and which other similar phones) support BT-movlog
with good results? Anyone tried?

I've tested this with my Siemens SX1 phone paired with Logitech BT
(http://www.telefon.de/images/120x120/logitech_mobile_express.jpg) and
while it did work out technicaly up to 7 meters, the quality was
awful, both video and sound (in fact, the sound was not so bad).

Bottomline - if N93+BT works fine, this would pretty much be my next
combination as I could attach the camera elsewhere, keeping my hands
free and not having to hold it near my head while talking. That could
give new perspective for the viewer as well.
Also, a social moment - I'd look less stupid talking to a headset
holding a phone than am now while looking in a photo camera (Olympus
mju 700 in video mode).

Thanks!
