Forgive me if this has already been said, but how about the movie "The Rock"
where a cable car blows up?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZj_S_JtoGk

The movie "Metro" with Eddie Murphy has a scene where a guy is shooting at
Eddie while riding a cable car about 53 minutes into the movie...Trolley
goes out of control, people are flying off, it hits cars, etc.

[Videolib] screenplay - How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days

2013-03-15 Thread Wochna, Lorraine
Hi CW,

I have a patron looking for this screenplay, and for the life of me, I am
unable to locate a copy for purchase. There is a less than perfect attempt at
uploading on Drews Script o Rama, and I see a few libraries happen to have a
‘version’ of the script, but nothing I can get my hands on.

Any thoughts? I checked worldcat and various publishers. It really does not
look like the final screenplay is available.

Thanks for any help,

Re: [Videolib] Olympia (Riefenstahl)

2013-03-15 Thread Laura Jenemann
Thanks to John and Dennis for their responses.

I wonder if this is a case where a pres. copy of a VHS would actually
produce a better version.

Or even from that crisp laserdisc that I remember as my first exposure
to the film.

Regards,

Laura

Re: [Videolib] Olympia (Riefenstahl)

2013-03-15 Thread John Pyle
I have been looking everywhere for a high-quality transfer of the film, but
have had little success.

From what I understand, there was a somewhat nicer transfer going around about
two or three years ago, but it has since gone out of production.

Thanks!
