Re: New Facebook app update brings no improvement
Hi, The notifications are fixed, and can be accessed. This was broken in the last update but it is fixed now. Double tap the “Notifications” button. then, find where the word “Notifications” is on screen close to the top. Then, do a two-finger double tap on that, and the notifications will come up. braille display and the rotor
Ok, either I am doing something incredibly wrong or something is incredibly broken on one of my devices. I use a braille sense on hand with an IPhone 5 running 8.3. I attempt to use the rotor to do do such things as close things in the app switcher, and it just won't move. Rotor won't change in any environment. I have powered down both the phone and braille sense, and I am still having this issue. Can anyone advise? Eden -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list. Re: braille display and the rotor
Hi Eden. Have you tried changing the rotor with speech turned on, and it's still not working? Sometimes, braille fails to show the rotor announcement and the only way to fix it is to turn speech on and then back off again. I assume you are using space with dot 6 or dot 3 to move within that setting, and space with 5-6 or 2-3 to change what element you are navigating by? Boarding Pass/Passbook
I just signed up for the Southwest app. I entered my name, address, birthday, etc., everything but a confirmation number for an upcoming flight, and it automatically showed me as scheduled for that flight. My question is how do I use this to get through the airport. I am assuming nothing happens until 24 hours before flight time when I check in on line. I have heard it said your boarding pass will show on the lock screen. Does it show after checking in? Do I just hit the power key to show the boarding pass or do I also have to tap Unlock. After you check in your boarding pass is on your phone. What I did was open the app where my boarding pass was then lock the phone so that when I unlocked the pass would come up right away. Skype very important, please help
Hello, I have to do a job interview on Skype. Can anyone tell me where it is the most accessible way to do it? Should I use my Mac, or my iPad? Any tips or instructions would also be helpful. Thanks Nancy Nancy Badger, Ph.D Assistant Vice Chancellor, Student Services UT Chattanooga Sent from my iPhone with dictation software. Please excuse spelling errors. -- The following information is important for all members of the viphone list. All new members to the this list are moderated by default.
