Re: viewing pages on facebook

2017-01-22 Thread Eric Oyen
those should post either in the notifications tab or on your timeline. I also
get email notification when someone sends me a message or posts on my page
(https://m.facebook.com/blindathletescorner/ ). It's a little hard to setup the
page to do everything, but I managed to get a good bit of it done. :)

Re: Question for iPhone Users re Internet Preference

2017-01-22 Thread Arnold Schmidt
The three of three wifi bars means there is nothing wrong with the wifi
connection, there is something wrong with the internet connection itself. She
can go into wifi, either through settings, wifi, or the control panel, and turn
wifi off, so she can connect to the internet over her cellular connection,
being careful not to go over her data limit. As for figuring out what is wrong
with her internet connection, if she still has a wired phone, have her call her
ISP and, with her permission, they can log into her modem and router and
probably get it straightened out.

Andrew,
Are you trying to do more than one page at a time?
If so, try turning on the Document Stand profile and turning on batch mode. You
will have to double tap on take picture for the first page, then after that as
you move one page away, and place another page on the stand, and nothing moves
for a few seconds, your phone will beep, and it will take the next picture.
Repeat those steps until you are done, then double tap the done button I think
it is called.
If you are doing one page only, try Sieghard's method with the profile set to
automatic.I think the process of starting with the phone flat on the document
and raising it up allows the autofocus of the camera to know when the page is
focused, where having it on the stand, doesn't work.

Richard

2017-01-22 Thread Richard Turner
Andrew,
Are you trying to do more than one page at a time?
HTH,
Richard

Re: What is the best app for doing Facebook?

2017-01-22 Thread Kelly Pierce
I believe only with Facebook Messenger and not the regular Facebook
app can someone place a voice call to a Facebook friend. This is
particularly useful with a good WIFI connection and a non-existent or
poor cell connection. Also, these days many people check Facebook
more often than e-mail so using Facebook Messenger to send a written
message to a Facebook friend is often more effective than sending an
e-mail. Written messages are not limited to 140 characters as with a
text message.

Re: What is the best app for doing Facebook?

2017-01-22 Thread Robert Doc Wright
There was a third party app for facebook that I thought was really good but the
developer gave up on it. It placed all of your messages in a single column. All
you needed to do was arrow down. If you wanted to reply you just double tapped
it and you had all of your choices. I have forgotten what it was called.

  Hi Group,

What is the easiest app to use for doing Facebook?

I see there is Facebook app and Messenger app for Facebook? Any suggestion
would be appreciated.

  Mr. Ed
