Yes, I have turned off and on the phone several times.

One of you mention turning off Wi-Fi calling does that mean that all I want to 
have a Wi-Fi connection if I do that? Because Matt always had me leave Wi-Fi 
turned on so that way like Steph I wanted to go on the Internet or email away 
from home I could and then I think had have Wi-Fi on for calls and texting too. 
Just putting all the questions out there

Whenever I answer a call like I’m supposed to the call that’s calling does not 
come through so I have to hang up and call back or like when I was talking to 
someone a few minutes ago they kept saying hello and I heard them just fine 
well she had to hang up on me because the phone is a PIA I’m sure you know what 
that means. Any help I could get to fix this irritating problem would be 
greatly appreciated!!

I'm using an iPhone 7 & not experiencing the extra voiceover chatter. What 
people are describing; With certain voiceover voices, can't remember which 
ones, voiceover reads all punctuation, even though the settings is set to none. 
Selecting a different voiceover voice To use solves this problem. The other 
voiceover chatter problem can easily be solved by going to settings, 
accessibility, voiceover, audio & deselecting items that you do not want 
voiceover to speak or  deselecting sounds that you do not want played for 
certain actions. And the very rare voiceover bug that I'm having & have read 2 
other people with a similar voiceover problem. The word "send" is spoken before 
my wifi name in the status bar, before folder names & before each page of apps 
on my phone. At first this was very annoying. Now my ears mostly blocks out the 
unnecessary word. Unless there is a "must have" feature that you "really" need 
to use right now, I recommend that you not update until IOS 14.02 is released. 
I, as well as others, is experiencing a very bad lag in voiceover & reaction 
time when an item on the screen is touched or tapped. Some people are reporting 
bad battery drainage. Apple reported that the battery drain problem can be 
solved by erasing "all content in settings or resetting all settings, another

I’d agree with Simon.. I updated to the latest IOS 14, Things are without a 
doubt off.

I restarted my I Phone 11 and noticed some improvement.

As time passes, I’m noticing improvements every day.

Like our desktop and laptop computers, restarting them sometimes fixes things 
as the system boots back up.

I had a similar issue with my phone under IOS 13.x and restarting a few times

After IOS 14 was released, there was some discussion of what was called 
excessive voiceover chattering.  Would someone please describe this more 
in detail, its likely cause, and what if anything can be done to either 
minimize it or eliminate it completely.  Frankly, until I learn more 
about this, I'll stick with 13.7.

This can be done in the individual podcast settings. It's not a global setting.
Overcast's got really nice sound quality, but the lack of setting options like 
this for example and lack of info spoken by VO can be super frustrating at 
times.
I know one of Overcast's features is that it's a more simplified podcast app, 
but with Downcast for example, VO can read the last time the feed was refreshed 
and can access way more information on when an episode was published, if it's 
partially played and a quick summary. Overcast with VO doesn’t' give any of 
this data without having to launch the actual episode. So you're really limited 
on what information you can access with overcast. 
To each their own though. I'm sure for some folks, all that extra information 
may seem like overkill.

I don't know of a symbol representing Apple MFI certified. Whenever I check 
products at Amazon, Apple MFI certified is stated in the description. Since the 
iPhone 5S does not support fast charging and since it sounds as if you want a 
cable you can connect to both your iPhones and computer for use with iTunes, I 
would stay away from fast chargers. The fast chargers use a USB type C port so 
a cable bought for them can't be used for connecting your iPhone to your 
computer which requires a type A USB port.

Be aware that the product specs for this cable have an error. They say it has a 
USB type C connector but the picture and my contact with Amazon confirms that 
it is a USB type A connector which is what you need. I've reported this error 
to Amazon who hopefully will correct their site soon.

I would think those search terms would work fine.
Apple brand products are the most reliable.
But, there are many companies making lightning cables that work for charging.
If you want to sync your phone to iTunes, you want to be sure it says the cable 
can be used for data transfer as well.

search terms should I use to find these items on Amazon and what should I

Hello all,

One thing I noticed with iOS 14 is that if you turned off battery optimization, 
it got turned back on with iOS 14. If you don't want this feature, just go to 
settings, battery, and look for battery optimization and turn it off. I myself 
I'm not a big fan of this feature as I think it may be causing some of the 
battery issues that people are reporting with iOS 14.

I know you know this, but did you clear out your app switcher and reboot?

That, or this feature is not liked by the iPhone 8.

Well, I did what Richard did and asked SIRI to send an audio mnessage to

This would all be easiest by going to http://appleid.apple.com using a 
computer. Log in and you can make changes to your Apple I d there as well as 
well as add a credit cardd.

A friend has iPhone5S. He has a valid AppleID but doesn’t have any 
credit/debitCards attached to it. Somebody who helped him create AppleID, 
misspelled his lastname.
Now he would like to add credit/debitCards to his AppleID and correct his name

How can he do that, please?

Tapping on the message and flicking I discovered the following phrase,
Your iMessage, Audio message, 7:15 AM  three seconds Button.
Double tapping on that button played the message.
If you ask Siri to read or play your message it just says so-and-so sent a 
message pause and then it says do you wanna reply. No playing of the audio 
message.

Yes, this can be done.

After double tapping on AppleVis to bring up a list of unplayed episodes, if 
you swipe down that screen you will come to 3 choices, unplayed, all, and 
settings. Just double tap on all to see a list of all available episodes.
To go back to the way it was previously, just double tap on unplayed.

Searching through a given podcast within OverCast?

Let's say that being subscribed to the Applevis podcast within OverCast, I'd 
like to search through past episones, to see what AppleVis has on the Overcast 
app. Can this be done, and howThanks for info. and yes I'm really enjoying the 
Overcast podcast client! It's got very neat features! Features that the native 
Apple podcast app doesn't have. I've used Overcast a bit in the past, but I 
didn't really think bac' then, of the possibility of using it for good as my 
podcast app. All this came to be since iOS14, how they changed the native Apple 
Podcast app.
Castro was also a possibility, but you need to subscribe in order to get the 
most out of it, which as of now, I'd rather not commit myself to subscriptions, 
thus I decided to give Overcast a chance.
