When I check my status bar while the h800 headphones are connected, it says
bluetooth headset connect 0 percent charge.

This is while I am listening to them, so obviously they are not dead.

I've added the battery widget to the Today screen but it only shows the
watch and my phone.

Am I missing something, or do these just not show up correctly?

Hi,

Not all bluetooth devices have the feature that communicates battery charge
level to the iphone. I think this feature is called "mfi" similar to that used
with hearing aids but I am not certain. My Logitech K480 bluetooth keyboard
does not have this feature and thus does not show up with a battery level in

RE: Logitech H800 and bluetooth battery showing up on iPhone

2020-11-26 Thread Richard Turner
Thanks Alan,
That is odd.
I’m not sure why the Logitech headset doesn’t show up in the widget.
O well.

Richard,

When I check my status bar battery level when using my second generation Apple
Airpods, I get the same message as you saying Bluetooth headphones connected
battery charge 0%. When I check the battery widget on the Today view, I am
given the charge level of my iPhone, my Airpods case, and the right and left
Airpod. I have no clue why the status bar Bluetooth battery level always states
0%.

When I check my status bar while the h800 headphones are connected, it says
bluetooth headset connect 0 percent charge.
This is while I am listening to them, so obviously they are not dead.
I've added the battery widget to the Today screen but it only shows the watch
and my phone.
Am I missing something, or do these just not show up correctly?

Strange Pronunciation Issues

2020-11-26 Thread K. Scott Carlson
I'm encountering a couple of pronunciation issues with VO I can't account for.
First, it is now always pronouncing "re:" as "regarding". Second, even though I
have my punctuation level set to some, it is not pronouncing many of the
symbols included in that level, such as underscores and slashes. I'm using iOS
14.2 on an iPhone 7.
