Hey that had to be cool,

Yeah branz hatch was once one of the big tracks in motor racing
I didn’t think it was used these days.

Yeah someone looked at something like that here in NZ years ago vbut due to
insurance or health safety concerns they didn’t let it happen.

RE: Question re: Tribit sound max pro

2021-04-05 Thread Alan Lemly
Hi Donald,

Glad you're enjoying your Tribit MaxSound Plus speaker. That third from the
left button is the MFB or multifunction button. Below is a table documenting
the function based on the number of presses of the MFB:

Number of presses

Function

Once

Play/pause

Twice

3 times

Once when incoming call

Answer/end the call

Press and hold for 2 seconds when incoming call

Reject the call

Press and hold for 2 seconds

Activate VoiceDial if your device supports it

Hope this helps.

First, sincere thanks to those who recommended this speaker prior to Christmas.
I got it for Christmas and think it is truly a great speaker for the price. It
generates a great sound and more than adequate volume for its size.

Now for the question: As you view the speaker from the front, the left most
switch is power: the second, scan for blue tooth signal; but what is the third
button used for? The fourth is volume down, the fifth, volume up, and the sixth
switches to auxiliary input mode. But please tell me what the third button from
the left is used for.

Thanks.

Re: Apple Arcade

2021-04-05 Thread Michael Feir
The only one which I've had any degree of success with is called Dear
Reader. It's a kind of word puzzle extravaganza based on various books.
Everything seems possible but it takes patience and careful thorough
exploration of the screens. It seems to be one of these cases which is
accessible by accident so it's far from a delight to play but is possible.

ICloud’s backup app size to coincide with app itself?

2021-04-05 Thread Gerardo Corripio
Apart from very Happy start of another week, I’d like to know how can I, or
what would I have to do in order for the ICloud backup for instance, Voice
Dream Reader, or Audio memos (a recording app), for which I’ve deleted a whole
bunch of files off them from the actual app; when I go into ICloud’s Backup for
that app, the size of Voice Dream Reader is at 1.61GB, and AudioMemos is still
showing at 1.51GB? As mentioned before, I emtpied AudioMemo’s Recycle Bin, and
have taken off several books out of VDR. And money is kind of tight, thus I
can’t afford to expand my IClou Storage; remember that a dollar here in Mexico
is $20mxn.
So what am I doing wrong, or what doI need to do with the ICloud backup to
correspond with the actual apps?

Hi Don.

The 3rd button is used with a phone to move back and forward between tracks in
a playlist. It depends on how many times you hit that button as to what it does.

Also, the last button on the right turns the bass on and off.

Just letting you know.

Question re: Tribit sound max pro

2021-04-05 Thread Donald L. Roberts
First, sincere thanks to those who recommended this speaker prior to
Christmas. I got it for Christmas and think it is truly a great speaker
for the price. It generates a great sound and more than adequate volume
for its size.

Now for the question: As you view the speaker from the front, the left
most switch is power: the second, scan for blue tooth signal; but what
is the third button used for? The fourth is volume down, the fifth,
volume up, and the sixth switches to auxiliary input mode. But please
tell me what the third button from the left is used for.

Thanks.

Don Roberts

RE: Supersense update today

2021-04-05 Thread Richard Turner
Yes, the explore button makes sense, which is why I thought the other option
should be there as well.
Ind of related to my wish to not have it start automatically.

If all the features were buttons rather than one starting by default then you
could pick your task when you are ready for it.
Or, having an option in settings to always start with X feature active...

But yes, putting the Bar code info on the bar code screen will help.

Thanks for being open to suggestions.

Hey Richard,
Thanks for the feedback! That is a good question, and I'll look into it.
Accessing barcode labels would probably be a lot more convenient, and logical,
from the barcode screen itself.
Also, the explore button remains on the screen so you can easily switch to that
mode of Supersense. Think of it like the select features button in the bottom
right corner, except for exploration options.

I hope this helps!

Re: Supersense update today

2021-04-05 Thread Shane Lowe
Hey Richard,
Thanks for the feedback! That is a good question, and I'll look into
it. Accessing barcode labels would probably be a lot more convenient,
and logical, from the barcode screen itself.
Also, the explore button remains on the screen so you can easily
switch to that mode of Supersense. Think of it like the select
features button in the bottom right corner, except for exploration
options.

I hope this helps!

Direct Touch

2021-04-05 Thread Richard Turner
I don't know if this will help or just add confusion, but here is some
explanations from AppleVis:
Re: Direct Touch
Submitted by Squirrel on Tuesday, February 2, 2021

For those unfamiliar with Direct Touch, it's a way in which developers can tell
VoiceOver to ignore touch events in part or all of an app's screen so that the
app can handle those touch events directly. Examples include virtual
instruments, exploring a map by touch, interpreting touches and gestures in a
game, and so on.

Not exactly a new feature
Submitted by dvdmth on Wednesday, February 3, 2021
Club AppleVis Member

Apps have been able to utilize the direct touch feature for years now. As
described above, an app can designate a portion of the screen as having direct
interaction, which tells VoiceOver to ignore gestures made in that section of
the screen, allowing the app to interpret the gestures directly.

What's changed is that you can now enable or disable the direct touch feature
on an app by app basis. If you disable direct touch for an app, then VoiceOver
will always interpret gestures made within the app, regardless of whether or
not the app has designated any part of the screen for direct interaction. You
may want to do this if an app abuses the direct touch feature, enabling it in a
portion of the screen that interferes with how you intend to use the app. I
have not encountered any apps where this would be a problem, but if such an app
were to show up, then this provides a way to work around the app's behavior and
hopefully make it more usable.

  * My summary, If yu are using anything like games, virtual instruments,
etc, if they are self-voicing, turn off VoiceOver so the app can behave as it
is designed and VoiceOver won't intercept the gestures.
  *   Richard

Ralph's Observation: It is a mistake to allow any mechanical object<>to
realize that you are in a hurry.

RE: adding direct touch to the rotor

2021-04-05 Thread Carolyn
I can't see how Direct Touch would be good for someone totally blind, but
possibly people with partial sight might prefer it.

Maybe I've never seen anything about direct touch since I usually just type in
text edit boxes. Direct touch seems like it wouldn't be good for a blind
person to use and wouldn't be of much help to us.

2021-04-05 Thread Richard Turner
Do you have the accessibility shortcut set to triple tap the home button or
side switch to turn VoiceOver on or off?
If so, start the game, and turn off VoiceOver.

If not, tell Siri to turn off VoiceOver, then tell Siri Goodbye so it gets off
the screen and you are in your game.

hi, everyone, I am having trouble keeping direct touch added to the rotor.
Everything else I want is in there, but for some reason it does not stay
there. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I didn't think there was a save
button or anything. I would appreciate your enlightening me. Thanks a bunch.

Maybe I've never seen anything about direct touch since I usually just
type in text edit boxes. Direct touch seems like it wouldn't be good
for a blind person to use and wouldn't be of much help to us.

RE: adding direct touch to the rotor

2021-04-05 Thread Richard Turner
I don’t use much of the blindfold games, the one I use doesn’t involve any text
entry.
Is this game self-voicing? If so, Unload VoiceOver.

If not, then Direct Touch should show up in the rotor and you can turn the
rotor to it and flick up and then turn the rotor away from that so you don’t
toggle it back off and you are supposed to be able to continue with the game.
If not, you absolutely need to contact both the developer and Apple
Accessibility.

direct touch short cut?

Hi,
Just wondering if there's a direct touch short cut to use to invoke it when you
want to use instead of always turning it on in the rotor?

RE: adding direct touch to the rotor

2021-04-05 Thread Richard Turner
I do not believe it is something you add or remove from the rotor.
It is an Apple thing to “help” with accessiblility.
If you are on iOS 14.4 it should not be a problem.
You should be able to just go ahead and type even though it says “direct touch
area.”
If it won’t let you type, turn the rotor and it will be there and you flick up
to turn it on and you should be good to go.

RE: New Nenrent true wireless ma5000 battery case for the iPhone Se2020

2021-04-05 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Somehow your email with the link is not part of this thread any more and as
Richard said, it seems to be impossible to find this without the link, I tried
searching both with Google and on Amazon with your subject line or even just
parts of it and I can't find it. I thought when I originallly checked it gave
an email on the Amazon listing.

the iPhone 8. Earlier models of the 4.7 inch iPhone do not have wireless

It is in stock. I read some of the reviews. Some were complaining about no
wireless charging. That is there fault it is clearly stated no wireless
charging supported. One complained because they dropped it and the phone
broke. That could’ve happened even with an otter box on the phone. I’m not

The fractured English tells me this product is from a no-name Chinese company,

If it were me, I’d skip this one, and look for something from Mophie, or

longer do you get out of the phone before you have to charge the phone and

Re: New Nenrent true wireless ma5000 battery case for the iPhone Se2020

Yes, of course. That's why this case only works with the iPhone SE 2020, and
the iPhone 8. Earlier models of the 4.7 inch iPhone do not have wireless
charging.

wireless charging. That is there fault it is clearly stated no wireless
charging supported. One complained because they dropped it and the phone
broke. That could’ve happened even with an otter box on the phone. I’m not

That TMobile ads is for MLB TV, so you get access to all the TV broadcasts as
well as the radio. Regular price I think for that is around $120 per year.
But, you can get MLB audio, for just the radio broadcast and the occasional
“Game Of The Day” that includes the TV for $20 per year.
