Re: Bard Mobile App crashes when doing a search

There was an update to Bard Mobile yesterday that was suppose to fix the search 
bug. Did the update not fix the bug? I suggest when writing to report bugs, 
make a screen recording of the problem. A video speaks a 1,000 words. A 
description only presents a small picture of what is actually occurring.

Carolyn, by tapping on it at the mailboxes back button or back but depending on 
what your phone says then go to all mail folder, then go to two edit, then go 
to the messages that you want to select, and double tap on each one, and then 
when you’re done, go to the very bottom, there will be a delete all.

iOS 16 isn't compatible with the oldest SE, but it works with the iPHone 8 and 
X and later, which includes the 2020 SE.

I'm thinking those who read a lot of series books, could begin writing NLS on a 
regular basis and requesting that be fixed.

They might decide after getting lots of emails with the same request to make it 
right.

Maps or Google Maps and see if that helps.

Yes, getting rid of the programs activity did the job. I also put punctuation 
in my rotor, where it had not been, but I don’t know if that actually did 
anything. It was more a preventative measure in case all punctuation stop being 
acknowledged.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the great article.  I read somewhere that iOS 16 isn't compatible 
with the S E 2020 phones? Is this true? That doesn't sound right, since they're 
a newer phone.

Here are iOS 16 hidden features with over 100+ changes on both iPhone and iPad 
(iPadOS 16) that Apple didn't tell us are coming to your devices.

As you may already know by now, Apple has announced both iOS 16 and iPadOS
16 with first beta already available to developers and public beta coming 
sometime next month.

We have been fortunate enough to have both iOS 16 beta 1 on an iPhone, and 
iPadOS 16 beta 1 on an iPad, installed on our test devices so that we could 
explore all the features that Apple didn't get time to cover on stage during 
opening keynote of WWDC 2022 and tell you about it all here without having to 
have you go through the trouble.
With both iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 currently only available in first beta form and 
to developers only, we will not encourage anyone to give these a go on their 
primary devices as yet as that can result in a huge headache due to bugs and 
issues that are still present in these early interactions of the development 
cycle. If you have a test device lying around though, feel free to give it a go 
just to get a feel and taste of what is to come to your iPhone or iPad come 
this fall when Apple will finally launch iOS 16, iPadOS 16, watchOS 9, tvOS 16 
and macOS 13 to everyone and anyone having and iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple 
TV or a Mac respectively.

With that said and without further ado, here are 100+ features that we have 
discovered so far that Apple didn't tell us about but are coming to an iPhone

Did any of the suggestions take care of the problem?  Sure hope so, I forget 
which one fixed my SE2020 iPhone, but I had the same problem and I believe 
removing the, Programs, entry from settings / 
Accessibility/VoiceOver/Activities is the one that did the trick.

  This sounds like the Voiceover "activity" bug. Try:
  1. Go to Settings/Accessibility/Voiceover/Activities
  2. Double tap on the "Programming" activity
  3. Double tap on the "verbosity" setting
  4. Set "punctuation" to none
  I am assuming you are running IOS 14.x. This should fix your problem. This 
is a known bug but it would help if you report it to Apple. The more folk 
who
  do, the higher the priority to fix it will rise.

  No. Not happening. I’ve been using Alex forever. It works fine on my 
iPhone XR. So there has to be something going on. I just set my punctuation 
to none, and the stupid voiceover keeps giving me all sorts of commas and 
all kinds of crap. Changing voices is not the answer, since it works great 
on this phone. So, what the heck am I doing wrong?

Too much punctuation talking after my upgrade on my old 7+

I am trying to figure out why after I upgraded my 7+ yesterday, it has started 
pronouncing punctuation I don’t want pronounced, such as in the status bar, 
where it says 7 colon 34 for the time just now instead of 7 34. It’s even 
pronouncing commas sometimes. My group is set to some just as it has always 
been, which is also true for this phone. This is a 10 R, it is similarly 
upgraded to the latest released version, and it does not have this problem. 
Something got changed, and I can’t find what. Any ideas?

I had one and just got rid of it. It does an  okay job but it really is not 
effective on carpets with dog hair which is why I replaced it. The app is OK 
but for the price I think you could do better with a different manufacturer.
