I do not know how to access the predictive text from the keyboard. But the settings for predictive text are under settings, general, keyboard. Questions when navigating, reading and editing with the Apple Bluetooth Keyboard

Hello. I am trying out The Apple Magic Bluetooth Keyboard (I forget the name 
exactly, but it is the newer version) I have had for a few months to use with 
an iPad. I have already connected it to my iPhone, but need some help getting 
started. First off, with the predictive text thing, is there a way to have the 
phone behave one way when using a wireless keyboard and another with the 
software or virtual keyboard? For instance, if I did want to know the 
predictive text when writing with the virtual keyboard, but I did not want to 
know it with the wireless keyboard? I have already gone into settings, 
VoiceOver, and Verbosity to set it to play sounds when the predictive text 
appears, and speak the text when I choose it from the 3 options. Since writing 
this message on the Bluetooth keyboard, I observe the setting is not sticking.
Also, how does one navigate to the predictive area to access the suggestions? 
Is there a way to read the item which has focus, like using insert with tab 
would do for JAWS on Windows? That should get me started for now. For context, 
I have iOS 17.0.2.

I personally really like the interface of Overcast. The only way to know if 
those podcasts are available to other apps is to look them up in another app.
My guess is, they will end up being exclusive to Amazon, but no way of knowing

I’m not familiar with podcasts with amazon music. However, the recent updates did break accessibility for me as a music listener with amazon music.
 
A great podcatcher to consider that I use is DownCast for iOS. DownCast is aware of voiceover and it’s users and assures to make it accessible. It’s also very robust and intuitive.

Smart News app is broken

Hi All,

The Smart News App was broken a few days ago by the Smart News update. VO
will not read the headlines of any of the stories. So you do not know what
news stories are there. Everything in the app works fine. Anyone have any
suggestions or work arounds for now.

 

Also on my wife's 11 iPhone her Smart News works fine. How can I stop the
apps from updating. I know years back you could turn off automatic update
for the apps.

in the app that you wear the watch on the right and which way the crown is

If you are playing music, controls remain in the dynamic island even when you 
are doing other things on your phone. I think some apps put notifications there 
as well, but I haven’t seen any so far.
