installing apple tv without a tv?
Hi this might sound like a strange question. I have 2 era300s now from sonos and want to make this into a surround system that I then want to use with an appletv to stream netflix/disney plus. Since I live alone I dont need a tv. Is it possible to install the appletv if I connect it via hdmi to the sonos arc/then use the remote for navigation? Or could i use my iphone for installing it? Deleting photos.
For some reason, I manage to get screen shots that I do not need or want. I know I have deleted photos before, but after several attempts, I am unable to delete any or all of these. Could someone tell me how to do it, and also if I can do it all in one whack? Thanks. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list. RE: Upgrading software
Oops! Sorry, I sent this message to the wrong group. I'll re-engage my brain and get it right . -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Karen Poulakos Sent: Saturday, October 7, 2023 9:29 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Upgrading software I've had my Orbit Reader 20 Plus for almost 2 years, and have just begun getting comfortable with using it over the last several months. I've never updated the software, and decided to give it a try. However I'm a little intividated by the process. I tried calling Support, hoping they would walk me through the process, and they referred me to the manual. I have downloaded the zip file to the desktop of my pc, but haven't opened the file yet. I'm trying to decide whether it would be easier to connect my unit to the pc, or to use the sd card method of upgrading. My laptop does have a slot which fits my sd card. If I use the pc method, the manual says to be sure the Orbit Reader is turned off before connecting to the pc. However, it doesn't say anything about turning it on. Does putting it into upgrade mode, by pressing the panning key, dot 5, and dot 8 do that? Is the right panning forward button the part of the button closest to me, or away from me? Also if I connect to my pc, should I remove the sd card from the Orbit Reader before beginning this process? Any help is appreciated. IF YOU READ FROM APPLEBOOKS OR KINLE OR EVEN BOOKSHARE READER I BELIEVE, YOU CAN SWITCH TO ONE DEVICE OR ANOTHER AS LONG AS THEY ARE ON YOUR ICLOUD ACCOUNT. I SWITCH FROM READING ON MY IPHONE TO MY IPAD A LOT. I still like it but ran into a problem. I upgraded to a new phone a week ago today! Wow! Anyway, for some reason, I thought my settings and things like favorite stations and such would transfer over, but they didn’t. Yet, I remember that when my iPad got set up, it had the same stations. Anyway, does anyone know why this is? I basically have to redo my whole app because no settings got transferred, unless I can somehow get the settings from my iPad. Any ideas?
