RE: changing alarm sound

2023-10-28 Thread Richard Turner
The repeat refers to how often you want that particular alarm to repeat.

Exactly how do you have your alarm set?

If you set a new alarm, you would have to pick the song for that new alarm.

Hi all. Here's The next episode in my alarm SOUND SAGA. I SET MY song as an
alarm and the next time the alarm went off, the song played just as I'd hoped.
However, my alarm today went back to the default. Weird! Any thoughts? I saw
the repeat every day option, but I thought that meant the alarm I'd already
set. Maybe it meant the song?
God bless!

I think Richard already explained it, you absolutely can select a song from
your music library, but as Richard said, the key is that the song has to be
downloaded to your iPhone, if it's in the cloud it won't work.

Re: 17.1 just made iOS worse

2023-10-28 Thread regina alvarado
When Siri starts to act up on me, usually it’s because I have spoken too
quickly. I either speak very quickly, saying Siri do such and such or if I push
in the side button. I don’t wait long enough before I say Siri do such and
such. It seems if I slow down a little bit, she always does what I ask her.
That’s my experience anyway, giving her a little time to respond, makes all the
difference in the world.

I never use Siri to open apps. I never saw the point. I also don't mind the
no Siri sound when holding down the side button. Really, it isn't that big a
deal.

Carolyn, is the one new item in settings anything to do with Apple Card? Go into first item in settings and go down to the card item and double tap and follow through as if you want the Apple Card. At some point going through the pages there will be a place to refuse. It should be much easier to say no, but it’s not. That drives me crazy with a new device.
