Re: watching NETFLIX or Directv and doing other things

2016-12-01 Thread Elise Ridout
That was a dumb moment. I just know it doesn't work superbly on my computer
seems sluggish but I use my phone a lot for other things. Maybe this won't be
the best solution. Is this the advantage most of you find with the Apple Tv?
I've always wondered why people owned them as well as a phone. I guess I know
one reason why now.

Hi there,
I can not figure out how to do other things on my phone if I watch Netflix or
Directv. I do not want an Apple Tv as you can not work that with a keyboard or

IT looks like if you don't live in a market with local service, you can't live
Nbc Abc or Fox as far as I can tell from my scant perusal. I don't think I will
be keeping this as there seems to be no way to search for on-demand shows by
category. You could by network I suppose but what if I wanted to find all the
mysteries or dramas etc. Doesn't look do'oable or it's not labelled.

Hey there,
As I use a braille display,

I have no interest in the Apple Tv. I'm honestly all thumbs except with the

the Apple Tv. It seems to want to force me to sign up for that. I must be doing

disappointed with direectvnow any other good live streaming options

2016-11-30 Thread Elise Ridout
Hi, I am not so far impressed with accessibility of the Direectvnow app. Is
there any other good method for streaming i.e. meaning I don't have to have or
pay for a cable box. As bizarre as it sounds, one of the reasons I cancelled my
Comcast was the obnoxiously loud noise the X1 box made, but they don't offer a
streaming-only option. I want to watch Investigation Discovery Channel that is
anyone familiar with an accessible app that has this channel? Thank you.
