Hi not sure if this is OK to post here so hence the reason why I am asking for 
off list assistance so won't get in any trouble what I would like to do is 
download an app that is only available in the US App Store. However, I am in 
Canada so the default for me is the Canadian app store.
I know some people say this is difficult, but wondering if anyone has done it 
successfully if so, can you please offer guidance? Thanks so much.

I just received an Apple Watch SE and I'm going to pair it this afternoon to my 
phone. Wondering if there's anything I need to know as well as what apps and 
faces etc. do you guys all find helpful and enjoyable.
Are there any settings that should be changed to better assist a complete

Which machine do you have?  So do you just put the pod and hit the button and 
that's all there is to it.  Do you need different mugs depending on whether you 
want to make a long espresso or short.  Sorry for all the dumb questions.  
Which pods are your favourites?  Can you all the nespresso pods or just certain 
ones.  Do you have a link to the one you have?

I am looking to purchase an espresso machine for a friend who is totally blind 
and I am wondering if there are certain models that are accessible with the 
iPhone or some app because I was reading online that they have software 
updates.  I know nothing about these machines being visually impaired well with 
no vision I know that if they don't have a lot of extra stuff usually it makes 
it easier to use.  Do they function along the same line as a Keurig where are 
you put the pot in select what size you want then it just does the rest on its 
own.  Are the pods just for coffee or do they make other hot drinks.  Also not 
looking for anything super expensive.

Blood pressure monitors that are used with an app

I am curious to know if there are any blood pressure monitors that will work

When I flick down twice, the only options available are more and activate more 
gives you block and cancel and activate of course just opened the message. 
There is nothing about archiving anywhere.

Problem deleting messages in messenger

Hi I sent a couple of messages to a page I subscribed to on messenger yesterday 
and the messages did not go through.  Problem is now. There is no way to delete 
these messages.  I have tried double tap and hold on the chat and the only 
thing that comes up is block or cancel, as well as I have tried flicking up and 
down on the messages themselves and the only option I have is copy or cancel.  
All I want to do is delete the chat not block the page, but not sure what else 
to do. I've also been through all the messenger settings and have come up with 
nothing.  Any help would be appreciated.

is an iPhone pencil any use to someone with no vision

Hi,
I just received an iPad ninth generation for Christmas and in going through all 
the different menus I noticed it had something about iPencil  so I am curious 
are they of any used to someone with no vision? If so, what would you use an 
eye pencil for.

So if you go in and hit create a table it will show you all the games that are 
available to play.
I read The link you sent in it is not an iOS app it just tells you how to 
access the games via Safari unless I missed something.

Direct touch on to play 7 Little Words

Yes, a sighted person would need to go to setting, and check the box for text 
to speech.

By the way, two friends and I did the same thing Because we didn’t have working 
eyes available, we completely deleted the app from our phones and then 
downloaded it again. That brought speech back. If you have purchased any puzzle 
packs you will need to restore those purchases.

The latest version of 7 Little Words does use a slightly different version of

better. Your feedback on the click noise for each move is something I will get 
addressed in a forthcoming build, so that if you decide to turn off the "sound

Is there a way to keep your outlook mailbox permanently expanded in iOS 15 mail app

Hi I am using a native mail app on my iPhone 11 running iOS 15 and I'm 
wondering if there is a way to keep my outlook account permanently expanded 
within the app so I can see all the folders and don't have to tap on expand 
every time.

There is a very slight delay when flicking with VoiceOver, but it is within my 
tolerance level.

offloaded unused apps to improve storage but wondering where they went

Accessibility of Echelon Fit App

Hi, All,

Does anyone have experience with the voiceover accessibility of the Echelon
app? I'm considering buying an Echelon smart connect bike, but I want to
make sure metrics like speed, resistance, etc are easily readable in the app
during a ride when my phone is paired with the machine. I downloaded the app
to test it, but I can't do much exploring without actually pairing a bike.

Need help getting my Samsung TV remote to work on my Apple TV fourth generation

Hi I am wondering if anyone in this group has had success getting their Samsung 
smart TV remote to work as the remote for the Apple TV fourth generation if so 
how did you get this to happen.  
I went to remote in settings in the Apple TV after reading a document that said 
this is how this is done then hit learn remote but the process was not 
accessible voiceover so I had a cited friend to assist me but now when I go in 
to Apple TV for and use the remote for the TV all it does is take me into TV 
shows not allow me to arrow through the different menus and apps.  Please help 
if you can since this used to work fine but then my TV acted up one day and 
then setting up my Rogers cable box again as I am in Canada for some reason the 
Apple TV stuff doesn’t work anymore.

Hi I have a Samsung smart TV and an Apple TV fourth generation.  When I first 
got the TV and it was set up by my cable provider I was able to control my 
Apple TV fourth generation with my Samsung TV remote but cannot do this now so 
wondering if anyone knows how I can get my Samsung TV remote to control my 
Apple TV fourth generation.

Weird message when I try to share on Facebook

I Just logged into Facebook and try to share a post I got a message saying I 
can’t share right now because of the miss use they avoid how many times you can 
do certain things on Facebook.  I didn’t do anything that I am aware of and it 
doesn’t say what I did or how to resolve it.  All there is an ok and not ok 
with the situation.

Need help deleting messages from Business sweet

Hi I am using business sweet formally Facebook page to manage a page that I 
manage and I am wondering how I delete the inbox messages one at a time.  I 
don’t see an option to delete messages and it doesn’t work like regular 
messenger where you can just swipe down or double tap and hold and that menu 
will come up we’re deleting is one of the options so wondering if anyone can 
help me with this.

but again, I don’t remember what they are.

If you add the battery widget to your home screen, you should be able to see 
their status. That is if you are running iOS 14. Also, if you unlock your 
phone, then open the Airpods case, you will get a little popup on the screen 
that tells you the percentage of them.

Trouble with Paramount+

Hi I purchased a Paramount+ through my Samsung TV last week and used my seven 
day free trial but subscribed to it but tried to watch seventh Heaven on my TV 
and I can play two episode but then it asks me to start paying after that.
I try to install Paramount+ on my iPhone iPad and iPod touch and sign in with 
my Apple ID and password but it says I don’t have a subscription and even when 
I tap on restore purchase through iTunes it doesn’t work.
I also installed the app on both my third and fourth generation Apple TV boxes 
and still I have the same issue that it won’t let me sign in but yet I have 
paid for it so I’m not sure why I can’t watch that particular program it wants 
me to buy the seasons from iTunes rather than play them through Paramount+
if anyone can help me with this figuring out how to connect everything and make 
it work as it should I would greatly appreciate it thanks in advance for any 
help you can provide
I should I add that when I subscribe to it on my Samsung TV I went into the 
Apple TV app and went under available channels and it asked for my Apple ID and 
password to verify the purchase so I’m not sure why I’m having trouble

Some questions about the Audible app

Hi I just subscribed to Audible.com although I’m in Canada.
I installed the app on my phone but I have a few questions.
First is there a way in the app to view an entire category of books meaning I 
can scan through several books but then it just seems to repeat them so 
wondering if there is a way to go through an entire category or genre without 
having to go  on to the website.
Also if I decide to purchase a book is there a way to see the price of the book 
instead of just letting me know I can buy for one credit so I can decide 
whether it is best to use a credit or just cheaper to buy the book out right.  
Is there anything else I should know or that would be helpful before I start 
downloading and listening to books.
Finally I have an echo Dot and I am wondering how I can link my audible account 
so that I can listen to the books I have in my library on my device.
Lastly when it comes to the different membership options which choice do some 
of you guys have and why and what one do you feel provides the best value for 
money.

it and what do you use for messenger just the messenger that is built-in to the

Does anyone know how I would get in touch with someone involved in the Quinton play room website

Hi I have created two accounts for the play room game website and cannot verify 
either account I have been doing this on my iPhone and then tried on PC and 
still not having luck verifying the account to sign in.
I emailed The contact I found on the page but that was the beginning of last 
week and still I’ve heard nothing I thought maybe something was wrong with my 
email address so are used a secondary email I have it created another account 
but still I am faced with the same result can’t verify the account so I can 
sign in and play games hoping for any help and would definitely appreciate it.

Trouble linking and unlinking my Sirius XM service from my phone to a Google mini

Hi I have a google home mini so I have the Google home app installed to set up 
my device from my iPhone 11.
I was trying to set up my SiriusXM account with my Google home mini as when I 
try to play something on the smart speaker it said my account was an active but 
all I saw was confirm with your Google account I don’t have serious  XM 
register to google but rather Hotmail but I can’t figure out how to unlink it 
and linking it was a real pain can anyone give me any tips on doing this with 
voiceover.  I just want to be sure that I did not subscribe to the service 
twice since it didn’t ask me to enter my email address or password to properly 
link the account.

Anyone have trouble with back tap

Hi I have an iPhone 11 with an otterBox symmetry case and just enable back tap 
can’t get it to work for me any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong or 
any reason why this might not be working.

Where is the setting so app updates Will download an update on their own

I no longer am receiving iMessages on all my devices

Hi I am suddenly not able to receive iMessages on all my devices since both my 
email address and phone number are not selected on these devices now.
I can receive messages for my phone number on my phone and iMessages from my 
email on my iPad iPod touch and MacBook Air but wondering how I get it so that 
I will receive all messages from both phone number and email address on all 
devices and how and where I would put a second address if one is needed since I 
only see my phone number on my phone and email on everything else not both.

Games and apps for a mac

Hi a few days ago someone suggested a few games for a mac.  There was dice 
world beatstar pro change reaction and I think there was another one but can’t 
remember.  When I search the app store I am not finding them.
Also using this platform what is the best way to access things like Facebook 
Twitter messenger stuff like that.

Turning touch area on and off

Hi how do you turn touch area on and off.
I have A few games that require this feature to be on but not sure how to 
enable or disable it.  I want to be able to play my games which require it but 
then turn it off and go back to regular phone easily.  I am not really sure the 
purpose of this feature or what is used for.

opinions on smart TVs with voiceover like accessibility features

Hi my TV just died so looking to replace it and obviously I know it is more 
effective to get a smart TV but just wondering which ones have the easiest to 
use and most accessible features in terms of voiceover type settings.
I know some have Roku so wondering if this is accessible.

Considering a Mac book air

A few questions re iPhone 11

Hi,
Got an iPhone 11 and am wondering where dictation settings are located.
Where I do I find wifi assist.
Is there touch id for iPhone and if so how do I enable it.
Is face id easily accessible for someone with no vision to set up.
Can you have the pass code only used when I turn on my phone instead of 
everytime I unlock my phone.

Can’t watch videos on facebook friends have posted

Hi I have an iPhone 8 and running the latest version of ios.
A friend has posted some videos on Facebook which I would like to watch but I’m 
not able to do this.  When I go to the video and double tap nothing happens 
just I get descriptions of the images so I turn off image navigation and still 
I get the same issue so wonder what I am doing wrong or is this a known bug and 
are others having the same problem.

Having trouble looking at videos on Facebook

got back tap to work on iPhone 8

Hi, got back tap to work on my iPhone 8 but I chose the three finger tap for 
the power button.  When I perform this function it only locks the screen.  Is 
this what’s supposed to happen.  Figured doing this would turn off my phone.
