Re: Making recordings using the iPhone native voice memos and sending them on to someone else
Hi, Iaona. Yes, I do know about the sharing feature. So, does that mean that particular format can be played by anyone? What I might want to do is use that file to mix with other files. Pedh like adding music or other things, so my voice memo will have to play owell with others. Smile. That's why I'm trying to see if there's a way to convert them to a wav or mp 3 ile. Hope this makes sense. On Fri, 6 Jun 2014 21:56:28 -0400, Ioana Gandrabur wrote: Hi, After recording the voice memo it's in the list of voice memos. Re: Making recordings using the iPhone native voice memos and sending them on to someone else
hi. A couple of years ago I bought a stereo microphone for my iPhone but never messed around with a very much. Then maybe a week or so ago Anna happen to mention that you can record a voice memo and stereo using the voice memo app that comes with the iPhone. And sure enough, that seems to be true. I don't know about the Notes app, but this is more about the voice memo app. Thanks very much for any help you can offer. Kathy. Re: How to get photos off your phone using iTunes
Hi, again. Well, it turns out my home computer and my work computer don't see my iphone at all; I use both XP and Windows 7, and I tell my iPhone to trust the computers. I have like 900 photos on my phone, so it would be nice if I could get rid of all of them. I've gone to photos but can't get to the individual photos because they're listed by years. I have tried to go to Moments, as someone on some forum suggested, select the photos, but delete shows up but is grayed out. Go figure. This is totally annoying. If someone wants to contact me offlist, feel free. Every solution that is supposed to work just isn't. Severus Snape/The Buddha Okay, I don't know what it is with me, but my brain gets scrambled whenever I try to sync stuff. I have a bunch of photos that somehow landed on my iPhone and I want them all gone. And I want to be sure I have everything backed up or my husband will be very sad if I lose his photos. So I think I have backed up everything, and I think everything is encrypted, so I think I'm okay there. I was told by an Apple rep that the way to get rid of my photos is to go to my photos tab which I think I finally found, uncheck phots and click sync, and that's all there was supposed to be to it. Well, first I couldn't quite find the Phtos tab, so that was interesting. Then I think while going through the iTunes 11 tabs I checked the radio button for info and I then think I found the photos tab and clicked on that. Then I came to this drop-down box under photos which I'm not sure I really got into. But somewhere I did uncheck something in photos and then found the sync button. Some of my photos went away, but I still have half of them left on my phone. I don't have automatic sync turned on because I only have a 16 gig device. I'm using the most recent updates of JAWS and IOS, and I have an iPhone 4s. I have listened to Jonathan Mosen's Itunes 11 turoiral and have Ios 7 withou the Eye, but I'm still flummuxed. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be most grateful. Someone else suggested I go to photos, then moments, and select the photos I want to delete; there is a delete button but VoiceOver says unavailable. If only I could magically turn my iphone into a plain ole hard drive and just cut the files I don't want! Sigh! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the VIPhone Google Group. Hi there. I can't seem to find VOT time or anywhere in the App Store. Perhaps it might have another name? You are neither special nor important. I have a friend who is a massage therapist and she needs to change parts of the body at 3 minute intervals, and needs this to run for an hour. She is also hearing impaired, so she needs to be able to choose the sound that is emitted at each 3 minute interval. All suggestions are really appreciated. Re: Accessible pedometer apps
I recently started using an app called moves. I believe it was free and it is pretty accessible. You just put it in your pocket and let it record not only your steps but the amount of time you've walked the calories you've burned and one other thing I can't remember at the moment. Smile. Sometimes it might not register very very small box stuff like say, for one minute or so. But I have found it to be quite revealing about how much or how little I have walked in the day. I hope this helps. Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me Sent from my iPhone On Oct 5, 2013, at 5:06 PM, Wayne Merritt wcmerr...@gmail.com wrote: Greetings. I do not want one of the exercise games. Also,if the app were free that would be good too. I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 7, for whatever that's worth. Cannot seem to delete any of my Gmail messages
hi gang! I can't seem to delete any of my thousands of Gmail messages that are now on my iPhone. Smile. I know that at one point there was an option in the settings menu to turn archive off in the Gmail account, but that does not seem to be there anymore I have tried to use the rotor with actions but that does not seem to work either. Delete seems to work and all my other accounts except for my Gmail account. I am sorry if this has been talked about earlier but it is getting 92 impossible to keep up with all the many emails, so high may have missed something -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the VIPhone Google Group. Speaker for iPhone 4ness that can be used for phone calls
Hey all! First, I really enjoy this friendly, smart group a lot. I'm going to be involved in a group meeting where we'll be talking with someone in another city. Some people in the group might have difficulty hearing my iPhone speaker, so I'm looking for a way to conduct our phone call using a speaker that might have a bit more volume and depth to it. Any ideas? Much obliged! Kathy -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the VIPhone Google Group. Post a new message to VIPhone by emailing viphone@googlegroups.com. Oy, I got the Adobe Digital Editions Blues
Hi, gang! The subject line says it all. I have vound some books that I simply cannot get in any other format than Adobe Digital Editions, and I have not been able to find an app for my iPhone 4s to read it. I'm totally blind, so enlarging print and all that stuff won't work for me. Any help out there in the Universe will be much appreciated. I really love this list, just subscribed to it not too long ago. What a friendly helpful lot! And, omg, those Sheldon Cooper quotes make me laugh till I cry. Just recently started watching Big Bang Theory as well and have lots of happy catching up to do on re-runs. Anyway, thank for all your help! Re: Oy, I got the Adobe Digital Editions Blues
Hmmm, Kobo, eh? Interesting idea. Does Kobo read DRM digital editions from sources other than kobo's (guess that was or is Borders books, right?(? I wonder if some developer might want to tackle this issue. If Kobo doesn't work, I may have to see if Aurzweil can grab my books from DEvery and then somehow load it into ITunes to read on my iPhone. Sounds a bit extreme, though to go that route! Lol. But it would be an interesting exercise and learning experience. That's code for banging one's head against a wall trying to figure all this out. Anyhoo, thanks, Eric for this ide.
