Re: Netatmo weather station

2013-03-21 Thread kroggeman
Sieghard, Thanks for the tips on the batteries. The outside
thermometer works now. I did have to use the Convenient OCR to use the
network wizard. Did you have to do something to get the weather forecast
to come up? I don't have anything to tap on for the forecast. I'm
wondering if it's not available for where I live.

I can't wait for the rain and wind meters that will be coming this year.

Again thanks for all of your help.

Re: Netatmo weather station

2013-03-20 Thread kroggeman
Sieghard, I just purchased the Netatmo and used the network wizard along
with JAWS to get it setup. I tried to do it with just the iPhone but was
unable to do it. I am having difficulty with the outdoor thermometer. I'm
not getting any data from it at all. Do all the batteries have the
positive side toward the twist-on cover?

I figured I'd check with you before I contact the people at Netatmo.

Thanks,

  NOTE 1:
If the message is short enough, only one word, for instance, Siri may

I use the center button on the included iPHone wired headset to

  1.
Launch Siri and say something like, Send a message to Mark Taylor.

OK. I can send a message to Mark Taylor for you. What would you like

You can also jus do a 2 finger double tap to toggle between Pause and
Play.

I found it helpful to label the 5 unlabeled buttons on the bottom of the
app. The 5 buttons are Categories, Channels, Favorites, On Demand and
Downloads. Remember to label them you just need to use the 2 finger tap
and hold and a text box will come up for you to enter the label. After the
buttons are labeled the app is very accessible. As far as I know, the only
thing I can't get into is the settings.
