Does anyone have any speed test stats for Srpint? Yes they may offer unlimited data but I've found that the upload speeds in a lot of areas are real bad and makes skype hard to use. Re: $45 cell plan with unlimited data
Joseph, it's probably a good enough plan for most people and in the end, the only one who matters is you. If the plan works for you, then it's a great plan. That's why there are so many. I don't remember though if you mentioned talk. Is that unlimited as well? - Original Message - From: Joseph Hudson To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Tuesday, May 28, 2013 4:20 PM Subject: Re: $45 cell plan with unlimited data Hello Allen again, I can go for hours straining audio checking my email and surfing the net if I wanted to you while I was screaming I normally have 1 to 2 things open the wants. The companies also state that if they should turn off your data or slow down your speed it will be restored the next month. NOT true! My 17 year old son, who I refuse to add to my ATT plan, currently is with Straight Talk. He exceeded Straight Talks unlimited data for a month and they turned off his data. It has been 2billing cycles and his speed is still very, very slow, to the point that he can't update any of his apps! Now if your plans are to just use your phone for making/receiving calls, checking/responding to email, you will be fine. I had Straight Talk for my cell phone service for many years before I lost my sight and was happy with their service. But if you intend on using your phone to stream movies, songs etc. you may want to look into a different plan with ATT, Verizon, or Sprint. Sprint has an unlimited data plan, but I'm not sure how that works, you will have to look into that one. Just remember Sprints coverage area in the US, in my opinion sucks! Read, Research, Decide! Donna You can use the $45 per month unlimited plan with Straight Talk, if your phone is unlocked. Hi, Sprint does not throttle users data. At least if they do, they don't admit to doing so. ATT offers such a plan with unlimited talk, texting, and 2 GB of data sold in blocks of 2 GB and 2 phones but it will set you back $195 a month. Sense we use our iPhones for our home and work phones, it's worth it to us. Rarely do we use a full 2 GB of data but we have gone over that amount a few times. My wife got into Farmville on Face book. They do say though that they may drop this plan for new users.
