RE: AT Accessibility was RE: Verizon Accessibility Number, was Re: shopping for mobile plans
I found an AT web site that mentioned all disabilities including blind and had specific articles on each including a focused article on a blind employee ... After expanding the Resources tab and selecting support, I found a web site with the contact information for wireless customers and landline customers. Anyone with AT may want to check out this page; https://about.att.com/sites/accessibility/support Richard "He that cannot forgive others breaks the bridge over which he must pass himself,” and we forget that only grace can break the cycle of ancient hatreds among peoples. (It is notable that while I have regretted not granting grace to others, I’ve never once regretted extending it.)" - Edward Herbert -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Alan Lemly Sent: Sunday, July 19, 2020 8:39 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: AT Accessibility was RE: Verizon Accessibility Number, was Re: shopping for mobile plans Hi List, I did a Google search and was not encouraged with the results regarding AT and Accessibility support. They do have a National Center for Customers with Disabilities and its phone number is 866-241-6568. However, this center appears to be for those with hearing or speech impairments who are unable to use the regular voice network. They have a special rate plan for those who are qualified and certified to have the requisite impairment and the application form to apply can be found at this website: https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.att.com%2Fecms%2Fdam%2Fatt%2Fconsumer%2Fhelp%2Fpdf%2FTAP-disability-certification-form.pdfdata=02%7C01%7C%7C057381d37c144f42a78c08d82bf9d0bc%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435%7C1%7C0%7C637307699225257453sdata=w74BU4c95DWCHwF4FGptQoohG0baxYKAySGPqzIKKTY%3Dreserved=0 I accessed another website where they had contact phone numbers posted to see if they had an Accessibility Customer Support phone number but was discouraged to see that each of those numbers were housed in separate images that Fusion/JAWS would not read. If anyone else has better information regarding AT Accessibility customer support contact info, I'd love to hear it. Personally, I'm glad I'm on Verizon.
