Re: Annoying Bug In Mail App
Please let us know if you do find a solution, since I have experienced it as well in the Mail app. I have a Bluetooth keyboard but often forget to use it with my phone, even if it could improve things. So I'm using gestures on the phone. It is an annoying bug/issue, but not a huge deal, unless it drops me in the middle of an 18 message thread. It is really inconvenient at that point, but I typically don't open threads with more than 9 messages unless I really want to read those messages. For the record, I'm using iOS 16.6 on an iPhone 13 Pro. Warmly, Wayne On 8/11/23, Dave Clement wrote: > Hi, > > I have observed this behaviour also. Re: Annoying Bug In Mail App
Hi, I have observed this behaviour also. Most often, it happens when I have allowed VO to read out the first 5 lines of the first message via the "email preview" option (or whatever it is called). I can't say for certain that it is not a VO problem, I haven't studied it closely. If I am interested in a given thread, which I decide by listening to the subject, then I'll open the thread and go to the "message" option anyway since I will want to look at all the emails in the thread. I use a bluetooth keyboard as well, which makes rotor operation very quick and easy, so for me, this is no great inconvenience. Good luck in finding a solution. It happens. Only Apple knows if this is a VO bug, mail bug, or possibly both.
