RE: App Library Question
It should be there. Flick to your last page of apps, then do a three finger swipe from right to left as if you had another page of apps, and the app library should appear. Re: Problem with Kindle app [was "RE: App Library Question"]
Ithink it is fixed now, although there is the possibility that there never really was a problem, other than, shall I say, operator error. When I used the navigation drawer to change chapters, then decided to exit the book before reading very much of that chapter, double tapping did not take me to that menu with close book, rather, just back into the navigation drawer. I now realize that it is necessary to read or scroll a few screens into that chapter before the double tap will work as expected. And after messing with it for a while last night, I could not get the navigation drawer to go past chapter 28, when it was 35 I wanted. I reset network settings, and this problem seems to besolved, whether resetting those settings really fixed it or not, I am not sure. RE: App Library Question
To get to the App Library, do a three finger swipe left while on your last home page. Now to find the app you want, you can use the search field at the top, explore the screen or do a three finger swipe up to get an alphabetical listing of everything in your library. To move the app back to your home page, you move it like you would any other app on any other home page. Specifically, flick down on the app and double tap on the edit option. Now flick down until you get to the drag option and double tap. Now find the home page, with a three finger swipe right, and flick down on an app to move the app you're dragging to the place you want on the home page. I know these instructions are a bit terse, but I'm assuming you're familiar with moving things around on your home page and you just need help finding the app library. Re: App Library Question
Fyi, if you want to move an app back to your home screen from the app library, find it in the library, turn the rotor to actions, and edit will be one of the actions. You can then move it in the same way you move other apps. Re: App Library Question
I found the kindle app, which is the one malfunctioning, but I don't know how to move it back to the home screen so I hopefully can delete and re-install it, which is what I should have done in the first place. Going to the app store just opens what I have, rather than redownloading it. Iw get this figured out. Re: App Library Question
I've not used it, but if you flick screens to your last screen, there is an App Library button. Once in there, I would hope it will be clear what to do. Richard "You know," said Arthur, "it's at times like this, when I'm trapped in a Vogon airlock with a man from Betelgeuse, and about to die of asphyxiation in deep space, that I really wish I'd listened to what my mother told me when I was young." "Why, what did she tell you?" "I don't know, I didn't listen." -- Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy > On Feb 16, 2021, at 4:44 PM, Arnold Schmidt wrote: > > I have removed an app from my home screen that I now wish to put back. App Library Question
I have removed an app from my home screen that I now wish to put back. How do I get into the app library, and if it isn't obvious once I get into it, how do I put that app back onto my home screen?
