I agree. Check and see if you can have it cleaned first. The bottom speaker went out on my iPhone 8 and unfortunately, that can't be replaced. The top speaker of the iPhone is a part of the screen, so I believe, that can be replaced if needed. Hope your problem is resolved soon. Marty, first speaker designed for the earpiece has less audio quality than the speaker on the bottom of your phone. I would first want to take my phone over to in authorized service depot to see if this speaker simply needs to be cleaned. I had a problem with my main speaker on my iPhone 8 and I took it into the Apple store and got it cleaned for free since it didn’t need replacing.
