In your case it is not the phone or the app which are the problem, it's simply that you are just too old. You may just have to be patient and wait until you get it. It is my understanding that Be My Eyes is now rolling it out in stages so it probably won't be long. It does work amazingly well though and the desdcriptions are sometimes almost spooky detailed and accurate. I don't think your phone is too old. I don't think the image analysis
occurs on your phone. I'm pretty sure the image analysis takes place on
servers running GPT4.

Hmm, I just tried at 5:50 AM Central time in the U.S. and it's working
for me. There's nothing about Be My AI pending, either. I signed up for
the beta and was approved in less than 48 hours, and this was earlier in
the week.
This was with the AI function, and not calling a volunteer. If everyone
is having an issue with the AI, maybe it's just the app trying to
finalize getting the feature out to everyone.
Just a guess. Hopefully things get up and running.

HI Evan, I’m having the same issue, however, I’m using an iPhone 8 and I’m wondering if it’s too old and if the Be My AI requires a newer phone with the Neural Engine for better recognition or at least that’s what I think it’s called?
