You can use i phone apps on your i pad, but the screen area is usually the same size as it is on the i phone. Sometimes, there will be an option to blow up the app screen so it fills your i pad screen, though. This is a nice app! I sit here practicing writing letters. I find myself laughing out loud just to have my sighted wife coming in the room and looking over my shoulder. Is there a way to repeat a letter when you get it right? I would like to be able to correctly write the letter a few times before moving on to the next one. Hi Josh, You stated that punctuation might be in a future version of DoItWrite. I can predict that there would be problems with learning punctuation marks. How does the phone distinguish between an accent, grave accent and a comma, or a dash, hyphen and an underscore? Then some of them are very complex such as the and sign and at sign. Is the quote sign, two marks like commas or just one? And can you do left and right quotes? And what does a carrot look like? A jay with a peaked hat? Hi Josh, I bought DoItWrite and it's great! I love the Automatic feedback and coach via voice over and sound effects. It would be nice to have a score of how many times you got each letter correct. Firstly, really cool app! I wrote that entire first sentence, except punctuation, with handwriting! That's totally awesome! I've had some issues with VoiceOver interpreting the letters instead of the app, but over all, I'm really impressed. I'm having lots of fun, too. I, too, would greatly appreciate a punctuation section of the app. I have no idea how to write any kind of punctuation except maybe a period, and even then, I'm not quite sure where it goes in relation to the letter to which it's next. I learned most of my print letters from licence plates, which was fun. I also got to play with those cutout plastic magnetic letters that had braille on them when I was a kid. Anyhow, awesome app!
