Hi, I’m going to try to help...First, I have a few questions... 1. Are you using an iDevice or computer? 2. If an iDevice are you trying to do this using Safari or the Facebook app? 3. Are you sure that the phone number & all e-mail(s) used are up-to -date in your Facebook account? 4. When trying to have Facebook to text you a code, did Facebook offer a list of options of a way to send the code, text message & e-mail? Or was there an edit box & you entered in your phone number? 5. At the bottom of the page there may be a link that says “ No longer have access to these?”? If this link is there, have you tried clicking on it to see if you can change your password? 6. Has this Facebook account been inactive for a long while? I’m assuming not, but we both know the saying about assume. Make sure you have the texting service from your provider. Hey there, Well i can get the code via email. However 1 of the options that it wants to use to varify is varify from another device or computer. The problem is there are no check boxes that you can select to identify what computer or phone you use. Now, keep in mind, facebook has wanted me to change my password 9 times in the last 45 days, i've kept track. It's super annoying, cause i make comments, have sent out a few friend requests, ya know the normal stuff, and they think someone has hacked my account. It's really annoying. There is absolutely no reason to have to keep changing the password. And of course, you can't call facebook to figure out what's going on. My phone number hasn't changed, just my carrier. Is it possible that you changed phone numbers & forgot to update the change on facebook? It has been a while since I have changed my facebook password, I seem to recall that one could have the code sent to an e-mail address? Hello, I haven't had this problem. Maybe it's a problem with Facebook itself. Not sure. Have you tried logging out of your account and logging back in again? Maybe the Facebook accessibility team can help. I wish I knew more to help you. By the way, I'm also using the latest versions of everything. That means Facebook and iOS in this case. Hello all, the facebook problem has been solved. Apparently, the app was in the middle of an update. A weird Facebook problem
Hi, I am getting loads of messages from Facebook saying I have two messages and one poke. How do I check this? It says in the native app that I don't have any messages. Any ideas? Thank you so much! Another Facebook problem, please help.
Hello all, With the latest version of Facebook I have an issue with new feeds. I want to have all feeds in order, but when I click most recent 20 plus button, it keeps opening messages section. In previous version, when I clicked most recent button, camera roll was opened. Please does anyone know how to have new feeds in order? Thanks for help in advance. Facebook problem.
Hi list, I am using the latest version of Facebook on my Iphone 4. I don't know how to read statuses in order properly. When I want to read the statuses, Facebook displays only those posted by contacts I have as my friends. I am not getting the statuses from the groups and websites I like such as schools, institutions, TV shows ETC. This did not occur in previous version which I do not have any more. When I open the Facebook app and swipe right multiple times I come to News feed. Right after that is All Friends 20 + and then Most Recent 20+. Double tapping on All Friends gives me only my friend's statuses and double tapping Recent gives me all the statuses from friends and groups, websites, etc. If it opens on a different page then double tap Main Menu in the top left and then double tap on News Feed. I think I really like this way of getting the news feed as I can easily switch back and forth.
