Re: Getting Started Learning about Wireless Music Systems

2014-11-12 Thread Don Breda
Hi Craig.

I can't point you to any article but I can tell you as a sonos owner
that you can send different streams to different rooms at the same time.

If you want a wireless music system that is simple to set up, accessible,
has fantastic tech support and is extremely versitle then its sonos
hands down.

So far the bose system is in its infancy and doesn't compare to sonos
yet.

Sonos has been doing this the longest out of anyone and they got it
right.

The only system that may have better sound then the sonos are the
systems mayde by blueSound but they are extremely pricy and I don't know
if thtey are accessible at all.

Call me if you want to chat about it.

Don

Getting Started Learning about Wireless Music Systems

2014-11-11 Thread Craig Werner
Hello, everyone.

I have just started learning about how one can use an iPhone or other
iOS hardware in conjunction with wireless speakers and sound systems,
such as those made by Sonos. Can anyone experienced in this area
recommend any article or book on the net or in hardcopy that he or she
found helpful when learning about how music can be transmitted and
received wirelessly? I am interested not only in hands-on
demonstrations but also in explanations of what is possible to achieve
through wireless music applications. An example of what is possible
is transmitting different pieces to different rooms in one's home.

Thank you for all help.

Craig
