RE: Upgrade from iPhone 11 to Iphone SE 2022

2022-11-24 Thread Carolyn
The good thing about USPC is that I can charge my phone from low 20's to around
80% in about 45 minutes. That is not a deal breaker, but it is nice to have
that benefit.

No, it is not worth the upgrade. The SE 2022 has the iPhone 13 chip, which is
not much faster than the 11 or 12. The big change from the
11 to the 13 is 5g connectivity and most cell phone companies in the United
States have not deployed it in a way that it makes a difference in the
experience for nearly all iPhone users. They all have network upgrade plans,
but the promises of dramatic speed increases or vastly greater coverage
footprints have not materialized. The companies are currently refusing to
explain how their previous claims fail to match today’s operations for most
users.

Personally, I have turned off 5g on my 13 Mini and enjoy longer battery life as
a result. It only was available in downtown Chicago, and I did not experience
5g in all parts but just some. iPhone affordability is achieved when people
hold onto their phones until iOS can no longer be updated or even after iOS
updates cease. For the iPhone 6s that was seven years and it was six years
for the iPhone 7.
Both are still reliable phones today, particularly if kept in an indestructible
Otterbox hard shell case. Apple makes highly durable hardware that lasts for
years. Your SE 2022 will still be useful and functional well into the mid-2020s
and beyond. Apple has some really big changes planned for future phones. USBC
will be in phones for next year, although only the Pro will have the super-fast
transfer rate.
In 2023 or 2024, iPhones will have the three nanometer chip, requiring less
power from the battery and significantly greater speed, enabling the iPhone to
perform even more complex tasks. Services like live text, enhanced image
description and LIDAR were either as a result or fully enabled by the five
nanometer chips introduced with the 12 series in 2020. Exciting new
functionality is coming to the iPhone and I am saving my pennies to run out and
have the future in my hands when it arrives.

If I had not had an iPhone 8, but gotten the 11 when I had the chance,
I would still have that phone. I would wait until the 15 comes out to
get a new phone. The reason why I got a new phone was because this
was the last year the 8 would be supported.

RE: Upgrade from iPhone 11 to Iphone SE 2022

2022-11-23 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Anything wrong with your iPhone 11? I also have an iPhone 11 and personally I
can't even find any compelling reasons to upgrade to an iPhone 14 let alone an
iPhone SE 2022 which has the same processor and so on as an iPhone 13.
Things like LiDAR and MagSafe I like, but it's not like they are that crucial
so I'll definitely wait until at least the iPhone 15 next year.

RE: Upgrade from iPhone 11 to Iphone SE 2022

2022-11-23 Thread Carolyn
I would not do an upgrade from an 11 to an SE2022. I had an 11, good phone. I
got $800 for it on trade for 14 Pro with monthly, no-interest pay out on the
balance of the 14 Pro.

You know, on the 14's, there are no more 64 gb phones, only 128 and up. I ended
up getting a 256, so am thinking that I'll have this phone for quite some time
to come.

I would not have traded my 11 for an SE 2022.

I'd say go for it! Yes you won't have some of the features that the 14 has, but you'll have the processor of the 13 in an iPhone 8's body (plus of course, the Home Button). Problem with Iphone SE 2022 and IOS 16

2022-09-15 Thread danamarieleet
I do not use a password.

But twice since updating, my phone decides to just randomly stop responding.

The weird thing is, that I am certain it is not completely off as I can tap
the home button 3 times, but nothing happens. Siri does not respond at all.

The up and down volume buttons respond and it lets me do a restart wherein I
hold down the up and down button and the side button till it restarts and
then works again.

I have not gotten anyone to see the screen when this happened both times,
the only thing I do know is that the phone was locked.

Is there much of a difference between the SE 2020 and the SE 2022?

Does the SE 2022 still have a home button?

I want a phone with the home button, my main reason for sticking with the Se

Hi,

Here's the way I do it on my iphone. There are likely other and better ways to
do it as well.

1.Open the email in the Apple Mail app.

2.Turn the rotor to "text select".

3.Flick down to the "select all" option then flick right.

4.Turn the rotor back to edit and choose "copy"

5.Open the Messages app and prepare to send a new message to the person you
want.

6.Again use the rotor to go to edit then choose the paste option.

7.Send the message.

Hope this helps.

Casey,

Make sure you check your focus setting in Control Center to ensure Do not
disturb is not turned on. You can go to Control Center by placing focus on
something in the top status line such as time and then doing a 3 finger swipe
up. You can then single finger swipe right to get to Focus to ensure it is not
turned on. When Do not disturb is turned on here, you will still receive
notifications but they won’t be announced by Voiceover when they come in.
You’ll have to place focus on the status line and do a 3 finger swipe down to
access your notifications.

So I also have powered my phone off and back on again.

Or is there something else that I need to do I really don't want to reset the
