RE: Is this due to latest update
The other day, I reached out to their accessibility team regarding a VO issue I was having where VO would just randomly go silent for 20 to 30 seconds. Very similar to a nasty bug we dealt with maybe back with iOS 7 or 8 or one of those versions. Low and behold, they acknowledged the issue after I gave a detailed description of when and how etc. They asked me to generate a diagnostic report via a link they provided and said they were working on it. Sometimes it does feel like you’re just screaming into the void, and others… reaching out to report a bug really does help. Re: Is this due to latest update
It is. Try going to settings, accessibility, VoiceOver, and at the bottom is double tap time out. Try increasing it to 3 or 3.5. Is this due to latest update
I've noticed, since latest update, my double tapping the screen doesn't always get a response and will sometimes trigger something other than what I'm focused on. Second issue is that when I dictate a text message, using Siri, she will only read the first part of it back to me, then after the microphone seems to go on and off, will finally read it all back. Almost like she isn't aware that I've completed my dictating. With these issues occurring after the update, I just wondered if this could be a factor?
