RE: Old Apple ID Showing Up in App Store

2017-05-13 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
If you only changed your email address it shouldn't matter, I did this once
years ago and all the apps I purchased with my Apple Id when it was the old
email are still accessible to me, changing your email address keeps everything
and only if you sign up for a completely new Apple Id will you loose the apps
you purchased with the old Apple Id/email address.

Hi,

I eventually had to just give up the apps I had bought with my old apple ID.
When I changed IDs and e-mail addresses, there was no way to verify my old
apple ID. I also couldn't remember my security answers. I was pretty sure I
had the password right, but since I had given up the old e-mail address, there
was no way to get the confirmation e-mail.

I figure I gave up $50 at least in apps I'd bought.

If you solve this problem, I'd be interested in knowing how.

Thanks,
Lois
