Is this related to BARD? If not then I still hear a tone when I hold down the side button. RE: Possible Bug in BARD app since iOS 17 Upgrade
I've been running the IOS 17 beta for a while, and I don't feel like I'm running into any more issues than I did with IOS 16. I'm also on a few iPhone lists and some of the traffic has to do with questions about the new features and some has to do with the same handful of issues. There are also new features that people may want to take advantage of. Bottom line though is that it should all work and people need to decide for themselves if they want to upgrade at this time or not. -- Christopher (AKA CJ) =>÷ Chaltain at Outlook, USA -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of James Bentley Sent: Wednesday, September 20, 2023 1:18 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Possible Bug in BARD app since iOS 17 Upgrade I'm on quite a few list that deal with I Phones My in box is over flowing with people who are having problems with IOS 17. Re: Possible Bug in BARD app since iOS 17 Upgrade
Guess I'm one of the few lucky ones? No problems at my end on iOS17, but I too have the BARD Mobile bug you guys are talking about (even though I never change the speed or tone), that I double-tap Speed but nothing happens. So I definitely think it's a minor incompatibility issue between BARD and iOS17. Other than that, BARD is working just fine with iOS17! Re: Possible Bug in BARD app since iOS 17 Upgrade
James, I know what you mean. I now think I should have waited. It's not just the bug in the BARD app. I cannot get any of those per voice changes to work in my iPhone 12 either. At least I still have all the functionality of the Eloquence I had in ioS 16, but I don't get any of the new functionality I'm supposed to get with iOS 17. I will not be so quick to update next time. I will wait for a bit until things are ironed out more. Evan On 9/20/2023 12:48 PM, James Bentley wrote: Why not let others be the guinea pig when updates to a new operating system come out? Re: Possible Bug in BARD app since iOS 17 Upgrade
I can confirm this as well on my iPhone 12. I double tap on the Speed button within a book, and while it clicks, I do not hear the tone. Nothing actually happens. It does not change from Speed to Tone. Evan On 9/20/2023 12:19 PM, Richard Turner wrote: I can confirm your experience on my 13 pro. Possible Bug in BARD app since iOS 17 Upgrade
Hi, all. I'm using iPhone 14 Pro and BARD Mobile 2.2.1. Since upgrading to iOS 17 I cannot adjust the tone of a book from within the book itself.
