Re: Question About Three-Finger-Swipe left/right to Move Between Pages

2020-10-01 Thread Marty Hutchings
It would be wonderful if a cheat sheet like that existed, because my sighted
friends are always asking me how to do something and all I can tell them is
how I do it using Voiceover, which obviously uses different gestures.

Thanks, Alan. I need to go find, or make, a cheat sheet with the
sighted user equivalents for VO gestures.

Hi, Everyone.
My Mom just got a new SE20 yesterday and needs help adjusting to it--she
upgraded her 6S. Her YouTube app is not on her home screen, and I am
wondering if the gesture to move between pages is a standard one that both
sighted and blind users access, or if it's a VO specific one.

Thanks,
Dani

I understand why VoiceOver users have to have a different scrolling gesture,
but I think it is too bad Apple did not keep the slide to answer gesture for
us. And how do sighted users end a call? I'll bet it is with that same slide
gesture. Thanks for any information.

You could do a double-tap and hold and then do the slide gesture if you want.

Re: Question About Three-Finger-Swipe left/right to Move Between Pages

2020-10-01 Thread dani pagador
Thanks, Alan. I need to go find, or make, a cheat sheet with the
sighted user equivalents for VO gestures.

Dani

RE: Question About Three-Finger-Swipe left/right to Move Between Pages

2020-09-30 Thread Alan Lemly
Dani,

Voiceover users do a 3 finger swipe left or right to move among iPhone home
screens. When Voiceover is turned off, a single finger swipe left or right
moves among home screens.

Subject: Question About Three-Finger-Swipe left/right to Move Between Pages

Hi, Everyone.
My Mom just got a new SE20 yesterday and needs help adjusting to it--she
upgraded her 6S. Her YouTube app is not on her home screen, and I am wondering
if the gesture to move between pages is a standard one that both sighted and
blind users access, or if it's a VO specific one.

Thanks,
Dani
