I will tackle the second question about changing the volume.

There are 2 ways to change the volume.

The first way does not involve the rotor. In fact, I do not have “volume” in
my rotor. Let’s say you want to change the volume of VoiceOver. Do anything
to get VoiceOver speaking. Press the volume up or volume down button on the
left side of the phone while VoiceOver is talking to increase or decrease the
volume. You can use this method to change the volume of the phone ringer,
playing music or podcasts, and just about anything else.

In order to be able to flick up or down to change the volume, you first need to
add “volume” to the rotor. If you are very new to using the iPhone, the rotor
may not be the first skill you want to learn. Follow these steps.

Double tap Settings.

Double tap General.

Double tap Accessibility.

Double tap “VoiceOver On”.

Flick right until you reach “Rotor”.

Double tap “Rotor”.

Now you are in a list of things you can add to the rotor. If an item also says
“selected”, it is already added to the rotor.

Flick right until you locate “Volume”.

If it is not already selected, double tap “rotor” to select it. This adds the
item to the rotor.

When you finish adding other things you want in the rotor, double tap the
“back” button in the top left corner of the screen several times to return to
the main settings screen.

Since I do not have “volume” in my rotor, the next instructions may not be
absolutely correct. But here is how I think it should work.

Twist the rotor until you reach the “Volume” setting.

Then, when you want to change the volume of something that is currently talking
or playing, flick up or down.

Remember that flicking up or down changes or acts on whatever setting the rotor
is on at that time.

Hope this helps.

Rob

You can do this on a computer using outllook and possibly with gmail, and
probably more.

Hello Anthony,

When you get an attachment, double-tap it to open it. Depending on the kind of
file it is, there should be a Share button. Double-tap that and use one of the
options on the next screen to make the attachment accessible to the program you
choose.

If you have Volume on the rotor, you can turn the rotor to Volume and then
flick up or down to change the volume. In general, though, I find it easier to
use the volume buttons.

As for saving files that you create, different apps handle this differently.
With Notes, for example, the first time you open it, you have the option to
turn on iCloud. If you do, your notes are saved by default in an iCloud folder
and are accessible from any device you have that uses iCloud.

I hope that helps.

Best,

Anna

Best,
Anna

listers,

As I am a beginner to ios I need to ask you these questions?

If I get an email with an attachment, what should I do to save it? and when it
is saved, where should look for it please?

The other one is, why evrytime I flick up or down to increase or decrease the
volume nothing happen? Do I have to do something from the settings?

The last one is, how to create a folder where to save the notes, or documentts?

Thanks in advance

Sad to say, no. That is something I've wanted since I got my first iOS device
in 2009.

You can do this on a computer using outllook and possibly with gmail, and
probably more.

Hello,

Is it possible, on the iPhone, to create a rule so that e-mails from a
particular group, such as this one, will automatically go to a specified
folder? I’m aware that I can manually save e-mails to a particular folder but
I want incoming messages to land in a specified folder.

Thanks,

Kim
